That includes the Arabs. So what is the best solution today - One Democratic State with one vote for all, Two separate but equal states, or continuous war with all descendants of Abram claiming their birthright? You must read more than the one verse. The land covenant most definitely did NOT include the Arabs. The land covenant was with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Arabs descend from Ishmael, Abraham's son by an Egyptian handmaiden, and he was not part of the covenant.

Splendid biblical explanation, Sim. Well done.

PS: Have we not helped Israel over and over and over?
Were we not instrumental in getting them the land they have now?
This is gratitude for all the time, effort, money and good will we have sent their way, while the rest of the world detests them?

Interesting post.
Seems to me that it is also written that our Heavenly Father divorced Israel and He Himself sent that stiff necked children of whoredoms into captivity.
He scattered them to the four corners and it will be HE that rejoins those two Houses upon the return of Christ.
Now man does like to try and do what they think and believe that "God" wants them to do, however no one yet on any of these post has mentioned that PARABLE of the FIG TREE.
Also as it is written the anti-christ - the instead of jesus will be none other than the devil himself appearing as the true Christ even down to the scars on his hands.
What will be will be and too many don't have a clue, it is in our Heavenly Fathers hands and time table and Christ first warning to His followers for the sign of His return was not to be deceived, not blood and gore, He said that so long as there were wars and rumors of wars to fear not, these things need be. Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.

If I'm going to burn in hell for wanting peace in the middle east, a stoppage to all the killing, then so be it.

All the promises given to Israel were promises attached to Christ and inseparable from him. ===
Exactly. None have to speculate on christian belief to use christians to one advantage.

In response to your post # 38
Your post was very long...I have went over it carefully...
If you are saying that we are now living in the millenium, then I do not agree with you...
Rev.2:2 "And he laid hold of the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years...
Rev:2:3 "And cast him into the bottomless pit,and shut him up,and set a seal upon him, (that he should not deceive the nations no more,)till the thousand years should be fulfilled, and after that he must be loosed a little season."
During the 1000 years Satan will not deceive the nations no more ? Here lies the problem with your millenial theory.
The nations are still being influenced and deceived by Satan now !...I have never know a time when Satan was not in town so to speak.
The millenium will be a time when we are free of Satan's temptation and then he will be allowed to test us one last time at the end of the 1000 years. I believe that the millenium will come after God's judgement and the battle of Armagdon... The 2nd. chapter of Thessalonians also tells us the the anti-christ...A REAL MAN...will defile the temple in Israel that has yet to be built...
Thank God our salvation depends on faith through Jesus Christ and not on what viewpoint we have about bible prophecy.
Well this is my belief anyway...Thank you for sharing your thoughts...

God still has a covenant with Israel through Abraham That is what is essential here. Replacement theology does not change that fact.

"There are a lot of people who are genuinely saved, yet never touch a Bible. I'll sadly admit to being one of those for a long time myself. Luckily, I've now figured out that you CANNOT lead the Christian life you should without the Bible. That is God's primary way of speaking to us and we need that time with Him. I hope Bush is truly saved, but he shows zero biblical awareness whatsoever that I've been able to tell.
Maybe you can explain to me how he taught Sundad school and overlooked, lying, elevating homosexuality and having no regard for the unborn with his endorsing embryonic stem cell research on the existing embryonic stem cells. It doesn't add up. Youcan't teach Sunday school and NOT know that this is wrong.
Some folks like the label of being a "Christian" but don't abide by teachings. To be a Christian you also need to live the teachings to the best of your ability. Perfection as we both know is impossible but I fail to see Bush even doing the minimum in that department.

">And I happen to think you will be damned for eternity. Not >because you're not Jewish but because of your infernal >bigotry. "
It's most unwise to call the Judeo Christian God a bigot. I'm just paraphrasing His requirement. Being Jewish doesn't matter. It is belief in Jesus Christ that makes the difference with where you will spend eternity. Since paraphrasing offends you, here's the verse to ponder:
John 3:16-18
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
[18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

You: "Because he is president of a diverse nation. I agree homosexuality is immoral. It doesn't appear that he's appointed any to positions from which they can significantly impact the political/moral landscape."
Me: These are politically correct excuse and you know it. He appointed atleast TWO homos to postions of authority. COnsdiering that homos make up 1-2% of the ENTIRE population in the U.S., I'd say that is out of line. Will that impact morality - YES! He's suggesting that this is normal and they are equal in judgement to those who are atleast heterosexuals. They are not equal. It's like saying okay so the guy is a thief let's put him in charge of education. In short, you trust the judgement and nor should this person have respect and be put into a position of authority.
"Also if Bush is a born again Christian, WHY did he open pandoras box and okay EMBRYONIC stem cell research AFTER he sent out NUMNEROUS letters to concervative organizations saying he would NOT okay this?"
You: You do realize that Bush only authorized continuing research on the existing stem cell cultures but did not allow the killing of any more embryoes to obtain stem cells, right?"
Me: COrrect - exisiting embryonic stem cells even though he LIED to conservative organizations through letters stating that he WOULD NOT okay this. Besides it is WRONG to do this to begin with. So, he blatently lied and compromised himself on embryonic stem cell research.
He will NOT have my vote next time. I simply have to listen to my conscience.

"God wraps all in His lov."
No doubt about that however if mere fallible mortals reject Him they will NOT spend eternity with Him. May I remind you of:
John 3:16-18
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

I believe very strongly that Jews and Christians have the same God. We believe the Messiah has come, they do not. Other than that, we have the same scriptures in the Old Test. that they do. Muslims however, do not have the same God in my opinion, not in the religion of Islam.
