I'm glad the President of the United States has no such power. Constitutional amendments require that lots of thought go into them, because the process of ammending the constitution is so arduous. The constitution is not a place for fads.

The constitution is not a place for fads. There are(at least) a couple of Justices on the SCOTUS who haven't heard.
