it might have started back in the Reagan years. You may be right. I do remember the Rats saying Reagan wanted to throw old people out in the street. Hearing that comment first thing in the morning really ticked me off. He said it with such malice and hate in his voice. I wish I knew who it was that said it. Just have to shrug it off as typical Rat's sophmoric behavior I guess.

Dear Dems-
Cry me a river.

The Very, very, Elderly, Senile Sen. Fritz Hollings I should have guessed that one!

Careful there Borisbob69 with the typos...the liberals love to whine and do it in the most unlikely places. My daughter use to enjoy this doll board, but its been taken over by liberals. I guess these losers can't discuss their view on a normal political board. Free Republic does seem to get under their skin. Read this crap posted by one Anne-Marie Burns...
"That is what they call themselves (freepers) and the name of the web site is the Free Republic (
http://www.freerepublic.com) I've went there a few times and each time felt I needed a shower afterwards. So much hate and anger! They are always praying for something or praying for politicians (false prophets as far as I am concerned). They are anti-anything that makes for individual rights or freedoms. They are also called "dittoheads" because they generally work themselves into frenzies over there and it sounds like big hate chants. They mix hate, religion, killing and quests for killings like it is a group of people talking around a BBQ or church meeting. It sickens me how they can always drag God into their hate spews. It's so ugly, it makes my skin crawl to even look at.
You should have seen the comments just before the Iraq war. Racial remarks that just made you go pale. I will not even repeat what I saw there. It goes on like this day after day there.
What scares me is, that these people must actually go out in the world and work somewhere? And have kids?
One remark that had me rolling with laughter was this freeper stating something like this about anti-war people: "them and all their kids and grandkids should be sterilized". hee hee hee I laughed myself silly over this.
There was this priceless photo circulating for a while around the internet of this Freeper wearing a pair of shorts and a baseball cap and holding a beer in one hand and a sign in the other that said "M O R A N S" (mispelled from morons.) Wow, people everywhere were sending this pic to each other for a good giggle. So when you see the word Moran used, this is what it refers to."
The woman is a idiot. I gave her an ear full further down on the board, but I don't think it registered. Here is a link to the site.

Was part of a small group on here last night that watched the debate in the House until the final vote was cast early this morning!
The DemocRATs, if last night was an example, are in an all out war against Republicans. Their speeches were rabid, finger-pointing, arm flailing, obnoxious, lying, mean-spirted, and nasty rhetoric when debating on Medicare. Their lack of class in heckling Cong DeLay said it all!
Bill passed anyway in spite of their nasty rhetoric. Guess the RATs don't like living with the RULES they created!

Republican aides said the GOP leadership has treated the Democrats more fairly than the Republicans were treated a decade ago. WHY? Treat them worse, they deserve it.

Oh yes, I heard that too. They've been doing that for so long....it's stale.
Further, we need to point out exactly which president taxed social security RETROACTIVELY!
To: GraniteStateConservative
Well, then, this is an amazing story that the press deliberately played down. We have constantly heard the the Dems have "made gains," when in fact, they are right back where they were 10 years ago!

Hoyer testified that, when Democrats controlled the House, we did not always provide for fair debates. We should neither excuse those past practices, nor countenance the current ones." No Thanks. Weve been down this street more than once.
Under Trent Lott, the Republicans "shared power" with the Democrats in the Senate. The very moment the Democrats flipped Jumpin Jim Jeffords, Daschle stopped and froze everything Republican as controversial and then required a two thirds vote to even think about it.

House Democrats have declared war on the Republican leadership, vowing to gum up the legislative process in retaliation for what they say is systematic and unfair treatment by the majority. Yawn
