Lori, I love these state tours you're providing, and the fact that they're not alphabetical means we never know when our 'own' state is up for review!

Thanks Billie. They are fun to do. Every state has it's unique qualities and history that make it interesting to 'discover'. I have been fortunate to have visited most of them, but in many cases it was just a pass through on the way to somewhere else. So, I am learning to appreciate each of the states that I profile, and when I am finished, I know I will want to experience them all in person. Just like when I read Michener's "Alaska" and "Chesapeake", I wanted to pack my bags and GO there! :-)

Great graphics and write-up! Thank You for the tour of Maryland, Pippin. I have been to Maryland a few times, it is lovely. Love lacrosse, one of my favorite sports to watch, lots of action. Friends of mine attended Towson University.

As I was telling Meek, we're pretty tough and it's a 'dry' heat. We can handle it. Our guys and gals in uniform live under much worse conditions every day. :-)

Hot? Nah. However, I'm serving grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. Broil 'em in the sun and save all that energy that Grayout Davis bought last year.

Did break down and turned on the AC yesterday. Watching that little dial on the electric meter made me dizzy.

The perspiration is rolling off like sweat. Even at this early hour a nice ice cold adult beverage sounds good. :)
