McDermott attacks Bush as liar over WMD during prescription debate on the floor

The debate is one of the nastiest I've seen on the floor of the House of all time--Nancy Johnson (R-CT) seems to be taking the brunt of the vicious attacks (and I do mean vicious) from the Democrats.

Jim McDermott (D-WA) just said the Republicans can't be trusted on prescription drugs because WMD have not been found in Iraq (he mistakenly said "Iran" first, at which time the Republican members took the opportunity to laugh hysterically at him). Called Bush a liar, at which time the Chair ordered him to sit down. Billy Tauzin (R) followed up by saying "It looks like we just found Baghdad Bob." McDermott broke in out of order and asked if it was appropriate for a member to do this, at which time he was again slapped down by the Chair as being out of order.

Frank Pallone (D-NJ) went completely crazy just after that--it was insane asylum material. Frank Stark (D-CA)now calling Ryan (R-WI) a liar.

Cong DeLay said that since Republicans have been in control they have made a tremendous difference. Gist of his speech -- Republicans lead -- RATs do the status quo with old ideas and programs.

DeLay is great -- Republicans cheering now -- some RAT boo's!

The DemocRAT plan would consume 50% of all income taxes by 1955 and all of the payroll tax for Medicare!

Just heard her ask why they are having these hearings in the dead of the night! These RATs are so upset that it is getting funny. They are absolutely rabid -- now going after Pres Bush concerning and deficit and these clowns want to spend trillions of dollars on Medicare!

Pelosi getting on a roll -- she smiles when they stand and applaud.

I have never seen such behavior on the floor of the House or at least that I can remember.

There will be no heckling of Pelosi because our guys have class -- the Clinton RATs have none!

I just cannot believe these RATs -- they know they have lost and cannot believe it! Look at her eyes -- creepy! Hard to remember when I have watched the leader of the minority get so angry and over the top!
