They're hysterical. Why? Because they're losing. Their own lies no longer connect with enough people to win elections. They have no message. They have been bankrupt of a coherent and accepted philosophy of government since about the late '60s. They're wild with fear that their party will slip into the abyss like the Whigs in the 1850s. And they have reason to fear.

Pelosi now reminscing on the great "Clinton years."

To anyone who waxes nostalgic about the "great Clinton years," they should be asked, "Quick, tell me one program Clinton put through in 8 years, besides midnight basketball."

These people are downright scary and crazy!

I was poking aroung the internet last night, looking for other political discussion forums, and came across one where there was a person who was so strident against Bush and Republicans, that I clicked on her "personal" information, her bio and whatnot. What she shares about herself is insane. She talked about the police tracking her in the early 1990s, using irradiated mail to mark her which made her physically ill, from which she never recoverd. Truly "aluminum foil hat" material. There is no reasoning with such people. I fear they are truly mentally unstable.

I think you're right. But this is why the Democrats and the left in general are losing. They put all this effort into their spin, thinking people actually WATCH C-Span.

Rush is not #1 in my book

I'm a new Laura Ingraham fan. She's cute, she's funny, she's catty, she's intelligent, she's consistent, she's refreshing, she has great guests on her show (something Rush won't allow, because he doesn't want anyone honing in on his show).

Bubba lied under oath, Bubba lied on camera while wagging his finger/dog, and Bubba cried on cue.

The Rats never had any problems "trusting" X42 on the issues (especially national security).

I can only get Laura when I travel, but, I also think she is terrific. I get her email updates. She's funny and she's not depressing like Rush has become, with his constant doom and gloom and anger.

Here are a few examples from www.boycott-republicans.com:

Hastert & DeLay: you think no one is watching C-Span at 1:20 a.m. CST? Wrong. We've watched all day and all night. We know what you are doing. The only legal thing we can do is GET OUT THE VOTE AND FIRE ALL REPUBLICANS. You don't have an ounce of decency. I've been unemployed since Oct 2001, there are no jobs thanks to bush & the Republicans, so I will have plenty of time to wage cyber-war on you. And I will have time to volunteer and drive people to the polls. bush can raise 10 billion for all I care; he still doesn't have then numbers but our side does. RALLYING CRY PEOPLE: ANYBODY BUT BUSH -- ANYBODY BUT BUSH -- ANYBODY BUT BUSH. Sign up with Moveon.org and help.

And here's a snippet of another:

I read today that the top 200 taxpayers in the year 2000 paid an average of 22.3% of their total income in taxes (the average income was around $173 million). I looked back and I paid 24.7% of my income and I KNOW I didn't make that kind of cash. My meager income was taxed greater than the nations richest and that was BEFORE Bush's tax cuts for the rich.

I'm usually an optimist about reaching people with truth, but I get a dose of reality when reading some of this garbage.

well, based on reports today...it appears those they got to switch over were moderate/liberal Republicans, not conservatives. I don't think that's a great sign.

Don't forget: Laura Ingraham is also an accomplished author, having written her own book about Hillary (The Hillary Trap).

How about this one?

"We need regime change in this country. It boggles my mind to think about what the republicans, this administration, enacts *every* single day - we can spend $400 BILLION on "defense" - this year - but $100 MILLION on libraries, and still need $30 more BILLION for Homeland security because I guess the $400b isn't keeping us 'safe'. We've murdered - yes murdered - tens of thousands of people in Iraq and [don't forget about] Afghanistan, and we create new terrorists every day with our imperialist policies. There were no WMDs , there was no imminent threat, but there was money to be made for republican friends. Down with them all, they are the enemy of the people."

They're not the enemies of the American people, though. We're not world citizens (although they'd like us to be)!

That's a quote from McDermott?...Awww. The poor libraries! We buy up new cruise missles to protect our nation, and yet libraries go be begging because there isn't enough money to stock the bookshelves with "Stephanie has Two Mommies" and such.

No, those are quotes from http://www.boycott-republicans.com -- people write in their "grievances" against the Republicans. Those just stood out to me.
