Good Mornin', Canteen Folks!

WAFFLES! More waffles! Fruit-packed, syrup-drippin', coffee swillin' waffles! Bring 'em on!

And as for that coffee, I better be able to de-grease an engine with it, or it ain't strong enough! I still have some enamel on my teeth to remove, ya know.

Tonkin, you do good graphics, and I'm envious.

Linda, all's I know is: Hubba-hubba.

Bentfeather: I'm waiting for a slice of story from you, to go with those waffles.

And to anyone who is knowledgeable: PRETTY Please tell me privately, how to do some of this graphics magick of yours. Even so much as different fonts. I'm obviously doing something wrong.

Good morning Kathy.

Must have been a pretty short night for you. Your last post was less then 5 hours ago!

You may need to drink my coffee (it is OK, I don't drink coffee). I get my caffiene from diet sodas.

Have a great day!

Are you stuck at work? Awww...you are? Bummer! Don't you wish you were on the beach doing absolutely nothing? Me too! I'm at work! All I can do is post this lousy rant before I can come and play!!

Troops, Canteeners, Visitors, Aliens, and Burka Man's "voices"! It's great to have you with us today!

Mocha Frappo anyone?

While I'm slaving away at work, think about things like this:

Do not ruin your day thinking about these below:

The French and slobbering smiley are to be ignored!
And if a strange guy with a Teddy Bear and burka come up and ask you to buy a burka, JUST SAY NO!

Oh! If you see my Ma, tell her I ran off with a sailor! That will brighten her day!

Have a great day everyone! See you later tonight! Don't forget the reason we are free and who provided it.

Ma grounded me for life because she's evil and mean. So? She decided to post this for me because she's so darn controlling. If you don't hear from me in the morning, it's not because I don't want to post to any of you. It's because she's made me go to work and then home again. Such is life for a child that is misunderstood by her Ma. Ugh! She needs reform school!

Hey, Tom, wanna go for a stroll?

Time for your bath: Leave it to 8-year-old Quenton York to help Mom out by pushing 3-year-old brother Parker around the Purdue University campus in West Lafayette, Ind. Want to see the Hovde Hall fountain again, Bro?

EOD Blasts Largest Cache in KAF Region

By U.S. Army Spc. Jim Wagner
109th Mobile Public Affairs Det.

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan – The largest cache of rockets, mortars and small arms ammunition in the local region here was destroyed June 20-21 by explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians. It took EOD two days and five separate blasts to destroy the 25,000-pound cache found in the Tarnak Farm region, once the famous training site of al-Qaeda terrorists. In all, members of the 731st and 704th Ordnance Companies (EOD) found 1,801 107mm rockets, 36 120mm mortars and 85,640 rounds of small arms (30mm or less) ammunition.

The munitions were located – following on a tip from the 313th Military Intelligence Battalion – at the bottom of a swimming pool completely covered with dirt.

The process of destroying the munitions took two days and five blast sites because of the size of the haul; each blast could contain only so many pounds of munitions in order to avoid destroying windows at nearby Kandahar Air Field (KAF).

The rest of the story

I am doing what I am told, yesserie!

I am also starting therapy 2 months early, I am lifting my arm past 90° already, shocked my therapist when the Doc told him I was starting therapy only 3 weeks after surgery.

I want to throw out the sling already, but I have the intellectual knowlege of what they did to me, so, I will keep it until I am told otherwise.

They had to rebuild the whole shoulder, I am shocked, SHOCKED, that I am not in pain right now, that I can move as easily as I can when I passively move my arm.

However, there is no strength yet, and I aint rushing that.

Plus, they re-attached my Bicep tendon to my upper arm instead of my shoulder where it is supposed to be, so I have 2 pins, one in the shoulder for my infraspinitus and supraspinitus, and the other in my arm for my bicep tendon.

That in itself is a reason to slwo down! The bone has to form over the pin and heal in place, that is the glue that will hold in the pins after it sets. But all the tendon smoothing they did, the grinding down of the Glenoid Process and the Labrum, the smoothing of torn tendons in those areas, I would be an idiot to rush it.

It will be August before I can comb my hair with my right hand I think, maybe mid July. There is a milestone I am waiting for that is personal, but I guess I will just have to use the left hand for hygiene...(sigh)
