Activists staging a massive 2004 National Democratic Presidential Primary ran into some technical problems as a flood of Internet voters overwhelmed the Move.on.Org Web site and halted the voting process for more than an hour.

About 50,000 people were able to cast electronic ballots for Democratic candidates on the advocacy site (which has pledged millions in financial support for the candidate who garners 50% support of the election total) before the system crashed at 11:15 Eastern Daylight Time.

'We had a much greater load than we expected all at once,' said Wes Boyd President of the Political Action Committee that organized the vote.

'We did some tuning and tweaking to make the voting program more efficient, and we anticipate there will be no more problems.

By 12:30 PM the site was back up and running.

I voted twice for Al. I really was leaning towards Dean after seeing him crash and burn on MTP but in the end my heart belonged to AL.

Well, this old white haired Grampa has turned the poll back around for big Al inspite of the racist ba$tards at DU.

Keep voting at each url until it stops taking your vote. Then go to the next site. We must defeat the KKK racists at DU!

Come help Big Al win in the Rat inner city tradition. Come early and stay late while voting many times. When one of the above sites stops counting your votes, got to the next site. The vote count is from these 3 and ? other stations.

If the old dog is willing and ready to try something new, you can teach us new tricks.

Good....because us young dogs need vibrant old dogs to keep us in line ;-)

Voted for Big Al four times, and then the machine stopped taking my votes. Guess my illegal alien card expired...oh, shoot! I meant to vote for the other Big Al, Gore. Can I get my four chads back?

I tried to vote for Al, but I accidentally cast my vote for Pat Buchanan....15 times. I demand a do-over.

Good!

Negate the votes of those Robert Bryd clones infesting DU!

Big Al needs our support since the rats have no affirmative action for their black politicians running for president!

All you need is the IP address of the website. That can be obtained by using a ping command and observing the output.

After that, well...you have the address. All you need is a payload and a way to deliver it. Not that I'm condoning or recommending anything like that. That would be illegal.

All three are the SAME POLL! Check the numbers of each as you vote.

"I just tried and it said it was Closed to new voters."

But all votes must count (except military). They'll have to try to determine how we intended to vote.

I just tried and it said it was Closed to new voters.

If nobody gets over 50%, they will open it up again. Maybe Al got there already, but if not, hang on.
