YOUR IMMEDIATE HELP NEEDED TO DRIVE THIS GROSSLY INDECENT GARBAGE OFF TV AND OUT OF OUR HOMES...
First, we apologize to you in advance for asking you to read the filth below. WARNING: it's EXTREMELY offensive.
DON'T LET ANY CHILDREN READ THIS E-MAIL!
But millions of children were already exposed to it on TV, and you need to know how totally sick some TV shows marketed to children have become.
Here's what millions of impressionable youngsters across America who tuned in to the new Fox-TV show, "Keen Eddie," were subjected to last Tuesday evening (June 10) --
The plot involved a case about black market traffic in horse semen. Detective Eddie hired a prostitute (whose ad in the newspaper read, "Forty Year Old Filthy Slut. Will Do Anything") to have sex with a horse!!!

The FCC should exercise its responsibility to enforce the existing law against indecency on broadcast TV between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. (Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 1464) by levying severe sanctions against the broadcasters of this program.
PLEASE KEEP ME INFORMED OF THE PROGRESS AND RESULTS OF YOUR INVESTIGATION INTO THIS MATTER. SYNOPSIS, June 10, 2003 EPISODE OF "Keen Eddie"
The plot involved a case about black market traffic in horse semen. Detective Eddie hired a prostitute (whose ad in the newspaper read, "Forty Year Old Filthy Slut. Will Do Anything") to have sex with a horse.
When the prostitute showed up at the stable, Keen Eddie's thugs asked her to have sexual intercourse with a horse because they needed its semen.
Actual dialogue:
Prostitute: --No, that's not natural.
Thug: --------Extraction for insemination. If you look at the picture on page 45 you'll see how natural it is...
Prostitute: --Forget it!
Another Thug: --You're a 40-year old filthy slut, you'll do anything...
Prostitute: --With a human...
The prostitute finally agrees to go through with it. She goes to the stable and attempts to arouse the horse, but the horse drops dead.
She explains, "I never laid a finger on it. I lifted up my blouse, that's all he needs to get aroused. I happen to know a little something on this subject."
A copy of this COMPLAINT will be sent in your name to Gateway, Subway, Pier 1 and Nissan as a sponsor of this program, with the following message:

Fox-TV's descent into this moral sewer was paid for by the sponsors who bought commercial time on this show.
They include companies like Gateway, Subway, Pier 1 and Nissan -- all nationally-known brands that want to be perceived as friends of the American family.
How can they allow their commercial dollars to pay for polluting our homes with graphic filth like this? Whether these companies intended it or not, this kind of content directly violates the moral standards of decent families, especially those with young children.
When TV Sponsors advertise on shows containing content like this -- whether it's bestiality and foul language on "Keen Eddie," or the barrage of ultra-violence and references to oral sex, threesomes, masturbation and homosexuality documented by the PTC on other prime-time broadcast network shows -- we must hold the sponsors accountable for attempting to destroy our children's and grandchildren's moral values and character.
Moreover, your official indecency complaint to the FCC will support our campaign to demand that the FCC investigate, fine, and possibly pull station licenses of the Fox-TV affiliates who aired this "Keen Eddie" show.
And, hopefully, many of your friends and family will also forward this e-mail, so the FCC INDECENCY COMPLAINT and WARNING TO SPONSORS will be multiplied many, many times over!
We need you and a lot of other decent folks to take immediate action. Please don't delay.
With urgent thanks,
Parents Television Council
Also-PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOW SO THEY CAN JOIN THE FIGHT.
Thank you.

No programming heavier than PG, or rating option satellite/cable packages. That would be a good start. Then lets see where the Market dynamic takes us.
I cringe at the slutfest MTV has become, and even more when I think of my 15 year-old live-in grandaughter exposed to this crap.
Where I am from, an act performed by anyone other than a veterinarian, (especially a prostitute) extracting semen from a horse, is referred to as bestiality.
Many folks here refer to not letting your kids watch this stuff. Fine. But were you exposed to the amount of smut on TV as a child that children are today? Did it hurt you to NOT be exposed to this?
People on this site commonly rant about unwed mothers, absentee fathers, and the social burden thereof, but aren't willing to be inconvenienced in their prurience to lessen some of the emphasis in the media on casual, irresponisble, or even deviate sex.
It isn't a question of turning it off, it has become a question of just how much crap we can have in our culture before you can't step anywhere without stepping in it.
When my 3 year old hears F*CK on PBS, it really is time to reevaluate just what kind of culture we want, and where we want it to go.
As we desensitize our culture to these perversions, what waits in the wings as the next marketable thrill? Snuff flicks?
The minute I heard of that show, I had a new name for it: "Queer As* Folk" (As* sounds a lot like As).
I have pretty much given up on TV. I usually don't watch more than two hours a week. I don't have cable or satellite, and when TV goes digital I will not replace my 20 year old analog TV -- that will be the end of it. There isn't much besides increasingly lurid sit-coms and these stupid "reality shows" anyways.
I have mixed feelings about getting the government more involved in regulating what is on TV. The root of the problem is cultural. America has been so dumbed-down and coarsened that horrible TV is inevitable. Anything intelligent that actually has values doesn't stand a chance. I'm still upset that FOX cancelled "Firefly," which was the most original thing in years and instead FOX and the other networks copied each other's "reality shows" ad nauseum. The fact is that when enough people accept mediocrity, mediocrity is exactly what they will get and nothing else! Rather than having interesting characters or plots, the writers can just take the mediocre way out and choose vulgarity for its shock value. Vulgarity is sure to bring in the ratings while producing something thoughtful and challenging is risky. But once you bring in the government, what is to stop them from demanding that every show have, say, 10% homosexual content?
And it's about time the Horse Sexer Upper People got decent treatment on television. It is time to come out of the closet and loudly proclaim, "We have sex with horses and we are PROUD!".
When they show such a thing on TV, be sure to drop me a line. Hinting about it is risqué innuendo.
But were you exposed to the amount of smut on TV as a child that children are today? Did it hurt you to NOT be exposed to this?
Frankly, I was exposed to much worse smut from the mouths of my friends and their secret stashes of girlie mags. And every afternoon, Captain Scarlet would get hosed down with a machine gun, and Tobor the 8th Man would smoke his power cigarettes. None of it did me a whit of harm: I'm scrupulously faithful to my wife, I don't smoke, and I don't shoot people.
You and Tipper need to realize that human beings are not the puppets of whatever they see on TV. Human psychology is not summed up by "monkey see, monkey do".
As we desensitize our culture to these perversions, what waits in the wings as the next marketable thrill? Snuff flicks?
Yeah, when they start killing people on TV, we'll all say that it stemmed from a joke about bestiality on Fox.
It's a good idea to contact the sponsors. Otherwise, getting rid of the thing, or disconnecting the cable and the antenna are advisable, which I did seven years ago.
And to think that it only took Christendom a thousand years of the most grinding human misery and ignorance to bring it about.
Or are you holding a grudge ?
It is evident that your parents abdicated their responsibilities in more than this instance. I have children, who at a much younger age than sixteen, knew that human suffering and humiliation was nothing to laugh at.
Actually, it's hard to find worse.
Or are you holding a grudge ?
No grudge here; I didn't have to live through them. I'm just astounded to see someone point to the comprehensive tragedy of the Dark Ages as somehow redounding to the credit of her religion.
And the good thing is that they did; it didn't come from 5000 years of Chinese culture, nor 3500 years of Indus valley culture, nor various Central or South American cultures. It came from those "1000 years of grinding human misery" centered in Europe.
And the reason those cultures didn't produce a free society is because they had too much sexual license and not enough state censorship, right? (We'll ignore the free society of classical Athens arose out of a licentious atmosphere of open homosexuality and politically powerful prostitutes, as being inconvenient to your argument. We'll also ignore the fact that nobody has a clue as to what sort of society existed in the Indus Valley; if we ever decipher their writings someday we might figure it out.)
Answer my point: why didn' those cultures produce the political culture we have today which has given us Constitutional government and human rights ?
