I've stopped trying to keep up.
I just wondered which of her many friends would offer their "place" for her "vacation."
And aren't those considered GIFTS to the senator?

And aren't those considered GIFTS to the senator?Lately, I've heard rumors that she'll attend events with MANDATORY mass book sales - in advance.
The Senate does have a FEW rules about abuse of power - no?

...what did Jim Wright get in trouble for?For selling crappy books on his name alone. That maybe a bad example - Newt busted his worthless behind. Bringing up Newt's name raises the blood pressure of any lefty.
Hey, that may not be such a bad thing...

Best I remember, people placed big orders for books, sent checks but no books were delivered--or expected. I don't recall the exact details.

Howlin it's been quite a while so I'm going to tell you what I think the problem was, but please don't take this as 100% gospel. None the less, I believe it to be fairly accurate.
There was a problem with a book he was supposed to have written. I believe the issue was that Write hadn't even written the book, as the book was essentially empty pages, worthly notes or just a shody compilation of nothing. Then boxes of these books were purchased under a thinly veiled effort to funnel money to the Senator.
Unions, supporters and others bought up boxes of books that were essentially worth nothing.
I didn't get to see one of these. I'm not sure if the public ever did. It wasn't something that was run through a bonified publisher or book store chain after they were put together.
Perhaps someone can fill in the blanks on this. This is sketchy, but it's the best I can do.

Thinks she can dodge the FReepers that way! No schedule, no can find! Ha! Vee haff our vays too find out zees sings.
Run Hillary!, Run!
Now that she is trying to hide her events from the general public, it's that much more important that FReepers meet her at the events we do know about. I want to see this evil woman abruptly cancel her failed book tour, due to "writers cramp," and all her unsold books in the local Dollar Bill's store. Hahahahaha!
(Oh wait, the lefties will now call me a sick and mean-spirited subhuman being for saying that. Note to lefties: Put some ice on it.)

I thought Jim Wright's problems stemmed from Senate or House Postal abuse.....???Newt busted Fort Worthless Jim for making loot on a book that, at times, had only one word printed on each page. Total rip-off.
Dan 'Rosti' Rostenkowski (Crappyville-RAT) went to jail for a few bad postage stamp - ahem - transactions...

stashed in boxes -paid for by Democraps with campaign money - along with all his other nonsense of postal money used to buy cocaine by aides - putting up with Barney Franks and his pimps- when Newt arrived - he said it was 40 years of Democrat rule gone mad with reckless abandon - crime corruption and sexcapades ( guess that one appealed to the Newtster) - but anyway- the Clintons came back to town and it was a last hoo rah for those people- they would love to have their town back. Just wait for all the whackos ,protestors, and funny money to start happening- Hillary has 5 years to work on the BIG LIE!

"Living History" is having a near-death experience at Sam's Club in Memphis. A table just inside the door is stacked with Hillary's tome, priced at $15.87, barely over half its cover price. I bet the publisher is glad that he already sold a record number of copies, don't you know....

A table just inside the door is stacked with Hillary's tome, priced at $15.87, barely over half its cover price.Start a bidding war. "We've got this book at $15.00! Anyone for 15? How about 14? Anyone? Anyone? How about $12.50. They're going quick at $12.00! OK. $11.00! Only $10! Anyone for $9? $8? $7?"
See what happens...

As I understand it, not only was Jim Wright's book not very good. Many pages had only one word on them (that increases the length of the book, ya'know!) And, staffers were required to purchase the book in bulk orders, so that "sales" would be huge.

SO, FREEPERS HAVE TO CHECK REGULARLY WITH THEIR BOOKSTORES to be sure we don't miss a chance to
FREEP
her unroyal lowness, her hideous heinous--
Bwitch Shrillery Hellery Antoinette de Fosterizer
de Pathological-liar de Sade
from one side of the street to the other;
FREEP her riding in on her broom and riding out;
FREEP her beating bleating black Commie heart;
FREEP her phoney words and her plastic smile. . .
FREEP her coming and going every last mile.
