COUNTDOWN (502 DAYS) TO VICTORY '04 --
HELP PRESIDENT BUSH KICK OFF
BUSH-CHENEY '04 EFFORT!

Welcome to the Victory '04 Countdown Thread to Reelect President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney on November 2, 2004!

Countdown to Victory '04 is Free Republic's daily action center for the grassroots campaign to re-elect Bush-Cheney in 2004! Similar to other daily threads (like Day in the Life and Pray for Pres. Bush) where Freepers go to support our President, "Countdown" is a must-read daily destination where you can TAKE ACTION to support the President and counter liberal lies!

Every weekday from now until Election Day 2004 we will have a daily Action Item to support our President and will feature important news about the campaign and the DemocRAT "Shady Bunch." We also would like you to reply to these daily threads with what actions you or someone you know have taken to support Victory '04. None of us can afford to get complacent and believe poll numbers! We have to work like Bush Cheney are down in the polls until the last polling place closes on election night to achieve VICTORY '04!!!!

*************************

TODAY'S ACTION ITEM!

SIGN UP TO BE A MONTHLY SUSTAINING DONOR TO BUSH-CHENEY '04... AND DON'T FORGET TO ADD $4 FOR VICTORY IN '04

We can't say it enough: thousands of small donations from the Internet is going to make the difference in making a grassroots victory for Bush-Cheney in '04. As President Bush kicks off the fundraising effort this week, sign up to be a sustaining donor by sending in a small donation every month to Bush- Cheney '04 -- $4, $14, $24, $104, or whatever you can afford -- and remember that the $4 is to show that it came from the conservative grassroots at Free Republic!

Kerry is for Clean Energy -- Except for His Rich Massachusetts Liberal Friends!

Windfarm is an issue for Kerry

By Sam Dealy
The Hill.com
June 18, 2003

(excerpt) “We can generate more and more of our electricity from wind, the sun, forest and farm products,” Kerry said. “I believe we can and should produce 20 percent of all our electricity from renewable sources by 2020. Twenty by 2020 — now that’s a clear vision for America.

”It turns out, however, that it’s not such a clear vision for all.

A huge proposed wind farm on Horseshoe Shoal, seven miles off Nantucket Island, has met with fierce resistance, including from some of Kerry’s well-connected constituents and neighbors, who look askance at the idea of peering at a 130 whirling turbines from their luxurious vacation retreats. Watching clips of the President's remarks last night at his first big fundraiser, I thought I saw real steel in his eyes...I was really impressed with his attitude. He looked like he really intends to fight back against the lying, conniving RATS! He is biding his time and that's when he is most dangerous. God bless him!

Thanks for your posts.

I am finally getting around to reading David Frum's book, THE RIGHT MAN. It is really a fabulous insight into the inner workings of a White House under a President that is leading, not just reacting to public opinion. I'm going to suggest it to anyone who tries to hand me those stale Dem 2000 anti-Bush comments.

He won't get my vote until he does something about the thousands streaming across our borders each month.

Homeland security, indeed.

I've had a BushCheney '04 bumper sticker on my car for two weeks now. Plus I run everyday in my W '04 t-shirt. I'm sure the leftists in Baltimore love it.

They're just jealous that they don't have someone that compares to President Bush. Who'd wanna run around in a Graham t-shirt? Not me.

Did you know?

The George W. Bush Online Store www.georgewbushstore.com is a for profit website managed by Spalding Group, (http://www.spalding-group.com). The Bush-Cheney campaign receives no money from this store, as it would be considered a corporate contribution, and as such, would be prohibited under the campaign finance laws.

I totally agree with your opinion of the Israel vs. Terrorists situation. We need to unequivocably back Israel 100%. However faced with the choice between President Bush and any of the 'RAT candidates the choice for President is an EASY one. My problems with him are:
1. The Israel policy
2. The unrestrained growth in the Federal Government
(including the Medicare plan which is the largest
entitlement expansion in 40 years).
3. The border is wide open for illegal aliens to come in
and mooch off the taxpayers.
Other than these issues I trust President Bush as our Commander-and-Chief. I don't trust the 'RATS at all!

I don't believe there's anything wrong with this. The campaign isn't in the business to run a President Bush clothing store, they're trying to re-elect the President. People are scrambling for Bush/Cheney merchandise that the campaign just can't provide right now. I have a friend who's developing his own "for profit" website with Bush merchandise that is absolutely going to ROCK! None of the campign designs are copyrighted so anyone can use them to provide products to fulfill the need that currently exists in the marketplace.

A CHALLENGE!!
Recovering_Democrat's Goal:
$2000 to Bush-Cheney '04!

Amount donated so far:
$150

(7.5% of goal reached!)

I challenge fellow FREEPers to set a goal, and post it on this thread....it doesn't have to be the maximum...make it a challenge, though! I'm going to be giving in increments...bit by bit, as I do not have $2000 to give in one fell swoop! Fellow FREEPers, do the same! Let's make a record of how we're doing in supporting our Commander In Chief!!!!
