Hit cable television show "The Sopranos" will continue for a sixth season, which will be its last, leaving the HBO show with enough episodes for a very lucrative syndication deal, The New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing "Sopranos" executive producer Brad Grey.

I watched a couple of episodes but couldn't really get into it.

The only reason I keep HBO is for "Curb Your Enthusiasm".

I always wanted to know what happened to the Russian that escaped from Christopher & Paulie Walnuts out in the snowy NJ woods!
To: suntsu
Paulie Walnuts would be a killer mortician. (Take that anyway you wish)

WE also order only for the season, then cancel. Our cable rep said many fans do the same thing... about a wk or 2 before the next season begins the cable company's phones are ringin' off the headset!

Maybe the final season will have little Godfather-like endings, where the rapist and the Russian are "dealt" with.

Never seen it. Then again, I don't really watch any tv. It went downhill went twin peaks went off the air. It never fails to amaze me what information some people think is essential to a thread.

My random thoughts:
Kill more people and stop bitching about your "relationships."
And bring back that crazy Russian "interior designer." ("his place looked like crap!")
And would somebody please kill that rapist - I haven't forgotten about him.
Paulie Walnuts is probably the greatest character in history. I just caught a rerun of him in Italy, where he thinks everybody is being respectful and they're all cursing him in Italian. He's the best.

The Shield is the best show on television. It's almost the best show ever, but the first two seasons of Millenium edge it out.

That show caused me to cancel showtime. Notice to anyone who subscribes to Showtime: You are paying for gay porn, whether you watch it or not.
Showtime's shortsightedness is evident here. The novelty of "Queer as Folk" has to have worn off in the gay community by now. They are very likely experiencing net subscription loss due to the show. But, if they cancel it, they are "homophobic." Moral: never givev the buttsex crowd an inch, they want twelve.

What I'm closely following now is HBO's "The Wire." I'm not a big fan of that show, but I think it is extremely well done.
Interestingly, after a couple of our brief conversations over the last year or so I would have sworn that you are involved in entertainment business as a writer or producer. Are you?

No, just a misplaced geek doing Ford fleet sales. But, hey. It keeps mama quiet. After all, I gotta sleep with that woman.
;-)
But what made you think that?

Everybody else has told me that so far, the rapist hasn't been dealt with yet.

Actually after reading the posts, Dr. Melfi
fantasizes about getting Tony to do him in. Sorry about that.
I still want to know what happened with that crazy Russian that Paulie and Chris tried to whack. He runs off with a large part of his brain missing, and Paulie's car ends up missing. Where is this one gonna go????
