Hit cable television show "The Sopranos" will continue for a sixth season, which will be its last, leaving the HBO show with enough episodes for a very lucrative syndication deal, The New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing "Sopranos" executive producer Brad Grey.

I'm waiting for the 4th season to come out on DVD, since I don't have HBO, so I'm always a season behind. Anybody know when this will happen?

LOL! Its a great show. The first three seasons on DVD are must see. The entire ensemble cast is supelative and you just can't tear yourself away from THIS family for an entire hour!

Yes... I think we'll get season two of "The Shield" out on DVD next year. That was an amazing police drama.

Mrs. CD & I only get HBO while the Sopranos is on the air.
As soon as it goes off we cancel.
The DirecTV operator is always trying to get us to get Showtime or Cinemax instead! LOL

At the rate they're going it will take 10 years just to show 6 seasons Yep- frankly, I've grown tired of waiting, and last season was a huge disappointment- no better than a class B soap opera... I'll still watch the first few episodes to see if it improves, but it's become very disappointing.

I haven't finished the three season. You know she wanted to let Tony know but didn't want to become an accomplice in his criminality. People like The Boss when he's the Good Guy but you don't want to be on his Bad Side. He made Pussy Bompensiero sleep with the fishes for ratting out La Famiglia to the Feebs.

You need to check out "6 Feet Under." Wow, that's one heck of an HBO series!My wife like that show. I can't pay attention to it. Can't connect with any of the characters.
What I'm closely following now is HBO's "The Wire."
