Pancakles on Wednesdays
I saw your post just in the nick of time
It is a chance to make a thematic rhyme
What would it be about for goodness sakes
Naturally it must Wednesday's pancakes
Sweet and hot and flat and round
The perfect food I now have found
We put the maple syrup on the right
And sometimes we them late at night

WIZDUMB from My "Voices"
A rare Dutch medical reference book, printed in 1738, was auctioned for $20,000. It was sealed, and when the winning bidder opened it, he discovered that only the title page had anything printed on it. It said: "Keep your head cool, your feet warm, and you'll make the best doctor poor."
Gee, that's what my HMO told me when they refused a referral to a specialist!

re the pic in post #66:
This makes me ecstatic!
Everybody at the table made fun of me when I had the carbonated lemonade (awesome stuff, btw!) with my lunch at the Munich Haufbrauhaus (sp?) instead of beer.
(What can I say? I'm a very cheap drunk. If I'd start drinking that early in the day,... The [even-before-my-time], old Dorothy Parker quote comes to mind: "One more drink and I'll be under the host." <-- I don't mean that literally, mind you.) ;)
