[history]
President Bush last night began raising money for his re-election campaign, shoveling cash into a war chest that, when full, will allow him to counter his increasingly critical Democratic rivals.
"There are nine Democrats who spend all of their time saying negative things about the president," said White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer. "The president is a competitor, and he will prepare for what he needs to do in the re-election."

Hope we see more subliminal ads this time. The "RAT" ones were great! They really got the Ra...er . .Democrats all worked up. Front page New York Times story even.
Should Republicans limit it to RATS or expand the subliminal ads to include other rodents?

And just
where was little Howard Dean, when Clinton was being touted as THE best fundraiser ever ? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ? And just
where was Dean and the rest of the seven dwarves, when Clinto was taking
Chi-Com money, selling out the Lincoln bedroom, etc. ?
President Bush doesn't need to use adds to refute the lies/propaganda from the Dems; he needs to assault them; put them on the defensive.

Should Republicans limit it to RATS or expand the subliminal ads to include other rodents? For instance, they could do a whole series on Bill Clinton and various beavers.

Maybe everytime a Democrat is shown in a GOP ad...the background could be interlocking letters: STDSTDSTDSTDSTD

In all the years I had seen the word DemocRAT, I never noticed it ended in RAT until the RATs pointed it out because of the Republican ad. Since then DemocRAT and RAT have become part of my vocabularly. In fact, I have a hard time typing the opposition party name without ending it with RAT in capital letters.
Looking forward to what is up next!

Great, isn't it? Democrats and the media thought they would advance Gore by pushing a stupid theory about subliminal ads and RATS. All they accomplished was to brand themselves with the RAT label.
Bet already there are people who do not know the real reason Democrats are called RATS. Historians need to take note now.

It is great! I will bet you are right about some people not realizing where RATs came from!
I should send them a Thank You for bringing it to my attention! Without Clinton's DNC, I never would have known!
