Dear Conservative Activist/Leader,
As you know, the Left has the major advantages of being entrenched on college campuses as well as having established networks of money and activists to fund their causes. Leftists in New York have a large collection of activist groups and political organizations to work with ranging from CAIR, to ACORN, to the Working Family Party and the various communist parties still run out of New York. These groups share resources and members. They march under the same banners, maximizing their political gains.
Heretofore, we have been at a severe disadvantage. Hopefully the meeting on June 26th will allow us to begin countering this leftist establishment. Not only will this be an opportunity for student and young conservative activists to refine their skills, but it will also be an opportunity for students at schools from around the metropolitan area to co-ordinate activities.
Cordially,
Ron Lewenberg
Senior Director, New York Young Americans for Freedom

I'll believe it when we have shall-issue concealed carry, a reduction (or elimination) of the city/state income tax and the end of public financing of abortions, among other issues. Nevertheless, the seeds may be sown at conference such as this!
