Apparently Michael Savage is in contract negotiations, and Mark Levin is filling in.
He's doing very well. He just ate one Pro-Palestinian revisionist historian for dinner.
And the show's theme song is "Underdog".
There's about a half hour left, check it out. Hardcore socialist on now.

I'm listening to the Savage show right now on KERN, and Lars Larson is filling in. Am I missing something here?

Sorry I missed Mark. Got this Larry Elder guy. Don't know anything about him.
Mark, you really have to give us Freepers some notice. We love to hear your rant, lol.

LOL, Thanks again for the heads up. I'll check WABC tomorrow night to see if The Great One is on again. I usually miss Mark's Sunday show because we're always out and about somewhere.

Larry Elder, long time talk show host out of L.A. Non practicing lawyer, columnist, author, TV quest. Identified himself as libertarian (a color thing?), but has always been as conservative as you can get.
A couple months ago he made big news by declaring he is now a Republican.

I think you'll like Larry Elder, he's very good. Different style than Levin, but just as good.

I just noticed this announcement on
WABC's website:
June 17, 2003
WABC places the Michael Savage program temporarily "on hold."
Due to unresolved contractual issues between Michael Savage and our sister station KSFO in San Francisco, WABC regrets that we have made a decision to remove the program from the air on a temporary basis. We hope those issues can be resolved quickly, and that Michael can again return to the air on WABC in New York City. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. In the meantime, WABC will air Mark Levin as a substitute host in the evening from 7-9pm.

I really can't take Savage, but Mark is terrific! Informed, right on, and takes no nonsense from idiots. Love the guy!

"temporarily".... WABC is so annoying! How do they expect to develop a loyal listening audience when then pull a show like this, without notice. They seem to do this a lot over there. Well, let's hope it is only temporary.

Last night Savage talked about the contract dispute with the local station in San Francisco and said they had taken him off the air in his home city. We obviously are still getting his show in Honolulu, delayed, so I'll be able to listen after work (Now 15:53 local)

There's a link to WABC in #6, that will allow you to listen online tomorrow night.

When criminals in this world appear
And break the laws that they should fear
And frighten all who see or hear
The cry goes up both far and near
For Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Underdog!
Speed of lightning, roar of thunder
Fighting all who rob or plunder-- Underdog!
Underdog. Underdog!
When in this world the headlines read
Of those whose hearts are filled with greed
Who rob and steal from those who need
To right this wrong with blinding speed
Goes Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Underdog!
Speed of lightning, roar of thunder
Fighting all who rob or plunder-- Underdog!
Underdog. Underdog!

He has a Sunday show?
To: hellinahandcart
Mark Levin has had a show on WABC on Sunday for at least a year now... maybe even longer. It's only 2 hours though - 12 noon - 2PM. Sometimes his show is pre-empted by sports events. I met Mark at CPAC... he told me he actually does the show from DC, where he lives.
