Senator Russ Feingevelt thinks we have no right to protect our children from inappropriate influences. He doesn't make me ashamed of my Jewish heritage but his lack of good judgment as a United States Senator IS beneath comment.

The opposition from radical gays to Bill Pryor is simply a reflection of his commitment to traditional values. I guess if being concerned for families and children is enough to get you labeled a "homophobe" I'm glad to be counted in such august company.

Sen. Feingold represents what we are seeing more and more of from some of our elected officials, the total breakdown of American family values. He is another professional politician, there for the vote and not for the care of American citizens.
Senator Feingold is egregious in his lack of dignity with his groveling for money from a base base for re-election. This man should not be a Senator.

"News accounts also report that you even went so far as to schedule a family vacation at Disney World in order to avoid 'Gay Day[s].'" A group of men prowl Disney World Orlando after dark during "Gay Day."
Incredible.
These people are homosexual facists folks. "You vill enjoy der gay zex!"

Disney is no longer the family-friendly playground it used to be ages ago.

It remains possible that Bill Pryor will not be confirmed. The Democrats certainly have enough
objective reasons to fear him; his convictions strike at the interests of their most carefully protected special interest groups. But at least we'll have had the inestimable pleasure of seeing him stand up to their attempts to bully him, without the slightest trace of uncertainty or waffling on his part.
Not too long ago, a FReeper whose name I've unfortunately lost wished for a conservative high profile nominee -- Federal appeals court or Cabinet secretary -- who didn't care whether he got the position or not, and who was willing to tell Ted Kennedy, Pat Leahy, and Russ Feingold exactly what he thought of them, in open session. I have to admit, the prospect thrilled me -- and Bill Pryor might be as close to that as we're going to come.

This is one of those articles where I'm thinking "I hope it's from ONION". Gee gosh, a dad who doesn't want the highlight of his children's day at Disneyworld be watching same-sex couples walk around holding hands. Go figure.

Most parents would not deliberately expose their children to something like "gay days" or bring them to a place where they will be surrounded with homosexuals.
Sen. Feingold is out of touch with reality.

Feingold is playing the "bigot" card in front of his national audience of butt buddies. What a complete disgrace as a US Senator. Remember, this is the co-author of an unconstitutional restriction on free speech, CFR.

Yup. I wonder what Johnny McInsane thought of his characterization of avoiding Disney on "Gay Days" as being homophobic.

Unfortunately we will never hear a comment from McCain about this issue. Now that you mention it, that is one guy who has been very quiet lately. Health maybe?

I am a proud member of the Michigan Triangle Foundation's "haters" list. My crime was to write a letter to the editor that in essence asked that a junior high school band teacher concentrate on teaching band and stop focusing on his anti-heterosexuality.

I did the same several years ago. But, it cost me.
I had purchased 2 adult and 3 childrens' tickets at a discount but had to specify a date to attend. Well, the night before we were to attend, I found out that it was "Gay Days".
I tore up the tickets.

You should have gone. Despite the media's hype, there really aren't that manyt homosexuals in the park because there aren't that many homosexuals. I was there last week and I didn't see a thing. Nada. Zip. I saw MAYBE 6 couples total.
Disney swears they have nothing to do with it but they close sections of the park for the night parties. The night parties are when gay people come out.

Let me get this right. Mister Feingold is willing to label someone as a "homophobe" just for exercising their freedom to schedule a vacation when they don't have to confront issues that their daughters are not prepared to consider? Let's have Disney schedule "Republican Days" or "Bush Days" and see if Mister Feingold is open-minded enough to take HIS family/significant others to see that particular event. Sheesh! These Democrats are stupider than dirt!
