President Bush continued his long weekend in Kennebunkport, Maine today, and celebrated Father's Day with his family. Bush made a brief appearance for reporters, and stated that he still believed there is hope for peace in the Mideast, but that the free world 'must deal harshly with Hamas and the killers.' Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I'm speaking to you. I didn't read the beginning of the thread yet, but how was your trip to Kennebunkport?

The President looked particularly handsome at Church this morning, love the suit and tie.
The fishing pictures are fantastic. I love the one with his Dad leaning over him with his own pole! So cute together. Where was Laura in the pictures at Church I wonder?

Happy Fathers Day to you as well admiralsn,

Not including the cool weather and the ice treatment you got from the SS guy, it sounds like you had a good trip. So, did you keep walking while you were taking pictures, or did you actually stop and take them? You can tell me, I promise I won't rat you out to the SS guys.
That's okay that you didn't get any Dubya photos. I'm sure the others will turn out amazingly. You must ping me when you post them.
Thanks for taking this trip and getting the pictures. You're awesome.

And how pathetic is it that I spent time hitting refresh instead of doing stuff? Huh?
You, too? LOL!!!
Well, I got a bit productive: I did some searches on eBay. ;)
Sad thing is, I'm starved, but didn't want to get up and cook something and miss y'all before bedtimes.

I know what look you are talking about.
I toured the White House in 87. My 2 yo son got away from me and dashed beyond the ropes to start down a side hallway. He was promply scooped up and handed back to me. I was informed that "it had better not happen again", with the look. Gulp! I almost saluted the guy. Needless to say my son was carried the rest of the tour.

Oh how lucky you are! How great to be able to be right up there at the Bush estate! I wonder why you had to keep walking to take pictures? I don't get it, but I guess the SS have their reasons.

OWF, As I'm sure you have heard from Eric, The Iraqi's do appreciate what we are doing over there and it's our negative media who portrays things as if our efforts are a quagmire. Sure there is problems in Iraq, and unfortunately we have suffered several casualties since the end of major hostilities, but considering that more than half of Saddam's loyalist laid down their weapons and blended back into the population, things are going very well.
This is not good news to those families who have lost loved ones since the fall of baghdad, but this war against Saddam and terrorism is a just war and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these heroes
