I have following Iranian news for years and I can confidently say that this is the closest the people of Iran have been to overturning the regime.
I will keep you posted.

If nothing else, this builds the confidence and spirit of the reformists, who will be able to do more and better in the future. A pity that it is so underreported, however, as it is still very significant.

Let us pray that freedom is at hand for the Iranian people, and justice is at hand for the Islamists.

At several occasion, brutal plainclothes men were captured by the demonstrators and were attached to trees.Does that mean they are hanging them, or what?

Thanks for the news, its too bad this is getting no coverage from the news channels, I remember when the counties of Eastern Europe freed themselves of Communism, at least the media covered it pretty well then, this is pathetic.

Please keep us posted.
Fox News Cable reporting that the creepy vigilantes who support the repressive mullahs broke into student dormatories last night-crashing in the glass and beating students as they slept. Some twenty four students are missing.
I pray this sweeps the country-that a full and complete revolution occurs, that the clerics and mullahs are completely over taken and that democracy takes root. The people there live with broken hearts-I suspect what is happening is catching on like wild fire.

"I can confidently say that this is the closest the people of Iran have been to overturning the regime."
I hope they succeed. Since the protests are still continuing despite attempts to squash them is a good sign.

At several occasion, brutal plainclothes men were captured by the demonstrators and were attached to trees.
Several patrols and plainclothes men's bikes have been destroyed as were caught filming the demonstrators. the regime's agents were saved from lynchage with the intervention of some of the protesters.
They almost strung the "b@st@ards up!!!
To: DoctorZIn
maybe time and newsweek can print pictures of protesters to make it easy for the iranians to round them up and slaughter them much like they(media) did re:tiannemen square
To: DoctorZIn
Where the heck is the War Slut on CNN? She is Iranian and she isn't covering this story heavily like every other crisis in the world.
Everybody write to FOX/CNN/MSNBC to give this the coverage it deserves. The white light of truth is what the regime fears the most.
Tianamen square happened because the media was kicked out. Time to get videophones to these demonstrators and let their struggle be shown to the world.

Here's hoping. Something tells me basic black is going to be a very unpopular fashion statement pretty soon.
