We have been standing on the corner of Lincoln and Eisenhower for the past 3 monyths along with members of the Loveland Family Support group of families that have sons and daughters serving in harm's way. As they return, we will honor them on the corner. This week we have one that has just returned from Iraq.
Meet Amanda Atwood
Army Spc 4 Amanda Atwood has just returned from action in Iraq. Amanda will be joining us on the corner of Lincon and Eisenhower from 1:00 - 3:00 p. m., Saturday, June 14th. Amanda graduated from Thompson Valley High. Stop by and thank her for her service to our country.
If you know of anyone else that has recently returned home from Iraq, please invite them down to the corner.
Celebrate Flag Day and Support Our Troops
The Loveland Elks are performing a Flag Day Program, June 14th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lynn Hammond Ampitheater (West of Loveland High School). This is open to the public and the Scouts will assist. Bring your worn flags for a dignified retirement.
After your old flag has been properly disposed of, bring your new flag down to the corner of Lincon and Eisenhower from 1:00 - 3:00 p. m. and join us as we continue to support our troops.

FReepers vs. Creepers. The leftist whiners were out today and were outclassed and outnumbered by FReepers weldgophardline and family, Absolute Power, myself, and the fine patriots from VFW Post 1781. They were getting down on Flag Day with a big yellow banner that said something about our flag being worthless due to the shame of killing innocent people. What a**es!
I arrived at noon and parked over with the peace-niks for some picture taking. I got out and walked right up to them and asked "Can I take your picture?" Most said sure but there was this one bald headed leftists that asked "Which side are you on?, Who are you taking the pictures for?" "My side, For me" I replied. He was holding an anti-jew poster with America spelled with dollar signs and the Star of David. It was all I could do not to just clobber this guy. He said to his buddy "He is probably with the FBI", to which I responded "You'll never know!". As I was walking away I overheard him mumbling something to the other guy about the pictures ending up on some website. LOL!! Well leftist puke, you came to the right spot if your lurking. (fiveotes will be posting my pictures later)
The difference between the two oppososing sides is awesome. Our side is colorful with lots of flags, neon posters, smiles, waves, and tons and tons of honking. Their side is one of misery, depression, darkness, and lots and lots of WHINING!!. "Oh boo-hoo, no one wants to honk for us. It is Bush's fault" (whine, whine, whine)". The Women in Black, all two of them, had to sit and look directly across the street at a tree with a banner hanging in it that said, "REAL WOMEN WEAR CAMO!". LOL!
We had a fantastic time. The public honks for our troops with such enthusiasm that it is inspiring. People just love to honk for our troops. Big grins all around.
At 1:00 the leftists gathered in their resistance circle and did their little pledge and sang their comrad songs. We left for Loveland after that.
These idiots never cease to amaze me. Great job Colorado FReepers! Look forward to the pics.
