You've got freepmail! I'm off to make dinner! We're having steaks, baked potatoes, broccolli and cheese, and cupcakes for dessert. (haven't made the cupcakes yet. Hehehe) Yikes! Gotta run!

I am just posting images here MoJo, for the edification of all of the troops. I do not neccesarily agree or disagree with you, but I just want the military to be seen in the most positive light. He is leaving The Military, and I salute him for his service.

I salute him for his service as well. I'm just glad he's going to be going back to Hawaii. Mahalo General!

Wanted to let you know that the power of suggestion works ... sorta:
I didn't give into the pancakes or waffles controversy today; instead, I just made myself a lemon "freedom flapjack" with raspberry honey. (A "freedom flapjack" is what we used to call a crepe before the French got p*ssy.) ;)

Good evening, FRiends! Just a quick note to check in and tell you that the Cut family is doing well...I know from all the pings we recieve that we're always thought of, even when we can't check in. So, in the midst of a life which seems a hurricane at times, here's an update:
Mrs. Cut, still carrying Mini Cut (nope, we still don't know the sex!) is at 8 1/2 months now. The baby is as healthy as can be, and the betting is that it'll be about 8 lbs. at birth. She is on total bedrest, as some minor complications have developed, and if Mini does not arrive in about three more weeks, they will simply induce labor. Needless to say, we are very excited AND nervous!
I'm serving as a house-husband right now, doing all the chores (at least the important ones), and STILL working at VP-30 fulltime. I also dealt last week with an unfortunate bout with bronchitis, but couldn't take time to slow down, so it's still with me a bit. I've been coughing so much my voice is raspy and smoker-like.
The Countess and I were stopped the other day by one of Florida's State Highway Revenue Collectors...something about 78 in a 65, or some such. I was only going 72 on my speedo, but I didn't argue. Sometimes it's best just to pay the nice State. Sad thing was, I was in my uniform, and he didn't even acknowledge it OR cut me a little slack. (Cripes, it was 0600, and I was the only car on the road!) Oh, well. At least my re-enlisment bonus came in.
I'm still preparing to deploy in August to wherever VP-10 is located then, so I've been getting my affairs in order as best I can.
Hope all of you are doing well, and as always, thank you VERY much for all your support, we all appreciate it!
