The FRN "Freeps Ahoy" Cruise aboard the Carnival Cruise Triumph arrived back in Miami this morning.

No SARS, No Norwalk, No Terrorism - just a hell of a lot of fun, food and sun!

As the first cruiser back at his computer, I have the honor of starting this thread and posting the above pic, which was taken at the foot of the staircase descending into the "London Room", which was the dining room each evening for our Freeper Contingent.

Except for Jamaica and Carlos n' Charlie's, Brian was the guy who got everything going on shore. He also sat there while I got my courage up in the disco.

I knew I went to Singapore 20 years ago to make me wise in the ways of men.

A WESTPAC cruise and London did the trick for me. I now see through all the skills that plastic surgeons can wield, for I once ... almost ... made the biggest mistake of my life with one of those medical experiments. Impending disaster clears the mind wonderfully!

We had fun, but not nearly as much as if you and Barry were there. Heck, not one person jumped into the pool with their clothes on!

Freepers are practical and sanitary people. With all those children running around all over the ship, I could have been wearing a Mark 5 diving suit with copper helmet and STILL not jumped in.

Folks, the link to this after-cruise thread is now bumped off the breaking news menu, making it difficult to find.

The current boat link at the top of the home page still leads to the discontinued pre-cruise threads.

Our cruise committee webmaster, Doughty One, sent in a graphic and link change to the FR webmaster yesterday, so that his new boat icon will lead directly to this after-cruise report thread.

It's taking more time than we thought, so just be patient.

Hope you have a lot of pix at the ready to post.

Leni, I posted my pics on another thread..here's my thinking...

The pics are as much marketing as they are "after-fun". Many people will not read through several hundred posts of cruise participants speaking in tongues and inside jokes, so it's better to get the pics up front where they can do some good during our 3 seconds of their attention. If I booboo'd, let me know.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise. Permission granted to post any pics we are in. We mostly behaved ourselves in public. We will do this again. Thanks to Leni for putting this all together.
