Dr. Barnard is a few threads short of a full screw; The hard part is getting all that cheese into the syringe.

Only one way to be sure: chop off his leg and give him some cheese, see if it helps...

Physicians Committee on Responsible Medicine is a PETA front.

Dr Barnard says his research could help overweight people currently suing fast food restaurants, by proving the food is addictive like tobacco.Or people testing positive for opiates on drug tests? I kinda tend to doubt the good Dr's competence here for some reason.

Yeah, I tried to quit food once, and sure enough I found out I was addicted. Couldn't do without the stuff.

Cheese is not good for anyone over 21. But wild moose milk is fine, plus it is an excellent test of your reflexes if not your judgement.

When will journalists learn the difference between an unsupported claim (which has no more credibility when it comes from an MD than it would from a cab driver) and an actual peer-reviewed study?

Dr Barnard says his research could help overweight people currently suing fast food restaurants, by proving the food is addictive like tobacco. How's that for a not-so-hidden agenda?
Actually, my all time favorite "comfort food" is a plain old grilled cheese sandwich. Maybe he's on to something. The problem is, he's too damn dumb to just say, "so what?".
