Under grilling by social critic Camille Paglia and Radar editor Maer Roshan, the proprietor of the billion-hit-a-year Drudgereport.com claims that the DNC has assembled a "really thick . . . dirt file" on Condoleezza Rice.
On Rice: "Oh, she's a powerhouse! But the DNC has a dirt file on her that is really thick. Think of 'The Contender,' or those other movies that have warned what happens when a female candidate has some dirt she'd rather hide."
As for the so-called "dirt file," DNC Communications Director Debra DeShong gave a non-denial denial. "We don't talk about our research," she said, "but we understand that Arnold Schwarzenegger" -- who might face President Bush's national security adviser in the GOP primary of a future California governor's race -- "has a real good file on her."

Really, don't kid yourself. I got a name for you that you might have forgotten: Lee Atwater. I also have this:
McCain was particulary angry about dirt spread around during the South Carolina primary that attacked the senator's wife Cindy as "a drug addict" and described the couples' dark-skinned adopted daughter using the N-word, the author revealed.
From
NewsMax.com. And there's plenty more. It's not liberals or conservatives, Republicans or Democrats,
politicians will do anything to get elected.

I bet they do. It's probably full of stuff the DNC considers dirt like:
- She's a Christian, Horrors! (I don't know if she is or not)
- She was pro-war!
- She talked the administration line!
- She's pro-Israel!
- She sat in the front of the bus!

Was Paglia implying that Condi is gay?

Was Paglia implying that Condi is gay?Condi, a lesbian?!
Sorry, I don't care who implies it -- or flat out claims it -- I'm not buying this without video.
LOTS of video.

We have only McCain's word for the so-called slurs. As for the matter of drug addiction........are you suggesting that stealing drugs from the charity at which Cindy McCain volunteered and entering drug treatment means the story was false?
In my opinion is was Rush Limbaugh that knocked McC out of the primaries along with his vicious gratuitous attacks on the Christian right.
Is the author to which you are referring, Paul Alexander? The same man who constantly ran with the rumor that McCain was going to switch parties and run again for President as a democrat?

Loretta Sanchez? Loretta Sanchez has more baggage than Delta Airlines!!! BTW "Sanchez" is her maiden name not her married name. She "dropped" her married name to cater to the Hispanic vote in her district. I guess her hubby wears the panties in their house. If you ever want to know about Sanchez just ask Bob Dornan.

Unknown. How did you glean that from the article? The comment about 'outing'?

Ah-nold doesn't need any more money. He's set and so is his family. Rich people like to do this kind of thing. Bloomberg in NYC, Craig Benson in NH, Sens. Dayton and Corzine, etc.

Now that her sister has been elected, the both of them are insufferable. She probably had more illegal votes than legal votes in her race against Dornan. Of course, she had help from slick willie with those fake i.d. cards he had sent to illegals.

Not just McCain's word, many articles on the South Carolina primary. It seems that the slurs came from outside the Bush campaign, but the negatives were drummed up at Rove's prompting. Is the second sentence an admission? It's ok to smear Cindy McCain, but it's uncouth to talk about Bush's drunk driving arrest?

Ahnooold might not have told him but his Shriver-Kennedy wife might have.

I was living in the district at the time she ran against Dornan and you would not believe the hanky-panky that was going on before the election and the day of the election. Unfortunately, the GOP would not support Dornan's fight for an investigation of election fraud. Nervous nellies in DC.

If DNC had that we would have already seen it. The DNC has never had mud it didn't sling! Not always, as when criminal activities that include prominent Democrats or sources of campaign financing that can still be tapped are involved. But in this case, it may be worth sacrificing some lower level Democratic rising stars to eliminate a future major threat at the state or later national level.
