MANCOW on Fox and Friends
Fox News Channel | June 6, 2003 | self

Posted on 06/06/2003 5:17:18 AM PDT by snopercod

Anyone hear "MANCOW" Muller on Fox & Friends a few minutes ago? What a hoot!

He was there to plug his new book, but they asked him what he thought of Hillary's book. That really touched him off. From memory, he said,

It's all PR. Does anybody believe anything in it? I want to read the chapter about her love affair with Donna Shalala. I want to read the chapter about Janet Reno telling her about burning all those babies. I want to read the chapter on Bill's cocaine habit.

He went on to relate how the Secret Service warned him against speaking about clinton on his radio show.

They told me 'Your Mother's address is _xxxxx_, she owes _yyyyyyy_ on her mortgage. Don't talk about the clintons on your show...

E.D. was covering her head and cringing. I loved it...

Drat! Missed him...but he really is a hoot, especially when he gets into one of his Bobcat Godthwaite modes, which come to think of it is most every day.

Used to love him, now he's just another Howard Stern. Every day it's naked women this and naked women that. He's turned into what he said he never would.

"He's turned into what he said he never would."

. . .sometimes I wonder if that might be the last time I see him on 'FoxnFriends'. . .

. . . because when he is bad, he IS very, very bad; but hey, when he is good. . .yes; he is still 'bad'!

Love that Mancow...I'm buying his book...couldn't believe some of his comments about how he helped Roger Clinton get into the DNC convention, about how he stopped traffic on the bay bridge for 8 hours to get his hair cut....gotta love this guy...a real patriot...:)

Love that MANCOW!

But, although I usually don't care for facial hair on men, I think he looked better with the beard and moustache. How superficial of me!

He's always been like that. Back in the mid-90's, he started hosting a live concert-like event, held at Chicago arena, called "Mancow's XXX X-mas". In addition to live music, wild monologue, etc. etc., one segment of the show featured a contest where a "winner" in the audience was brought on stage to have sex with a prostitute hired by Mancow.

I don't know if he's still doing this event, but as long as he's been on the air, he's always had strippers and such in the studio. I actually knew a stripper who was invited into the studio with a bunch of her "associates", and they all ended up going out on the town and partying with Mancow and the crew. From the photos, it looked like a good time was had by all.

Mancow has also broadcast shows where he was supposedly under the influence of certain drugs. One show was allegedly taped somewhere in California for rebroadcast, and featured Mancow and his co-horts running around recording themselves on an acid trip. Another time he was purportedly on Ecstasy.

As much as he claims a conservative viewpoint and tries to play the part of a political guru of sorts, he's not exactly the poster boy for family values, and never has been.

Don't get me wrong... I like Mancow well enough, and some of his tirades on Fox & Friends are awesome. But he's always had the whole "naked girls/sex, drugs & rock'n'roll/ morning madhouse" element to his show, at least as long as he's been in Chicago.

I can't get him around here anymore, but he does something real important. He may talk a lot of trash, but he reaches the all important young men segment of the population. While he gets them to listen with his racy stuff, he talks about Constitutional issues and American values.

He's had some great statements on guns, etc.

"What good is a gun? Why should anyone own one?"

"Because guns preserve FREEDOM! Every decent citizen should own some!"

"I want to read the chapter on Bill's cocaine habit"

Not a "chapter", exactly, but perhaps the next best thing???

BILL CLINTON"S COCAINE HABIT

Scroll down to "1999 Video Archives"

Scroll to "August 20" "See Video"

. . .haircut . . .

Did you catch the part where he said Bill Clinton held up flights at LAX to get a haircut, but he was really having a tryst with SHARON STONE! And now she's supposedly being considered to play Hillary in a made-for-TV movie? Too funny!

Yup. And then E.D. said "That never happened!" and Mancow said, "Neither did anything in this book!"

What a hoot!

Thanks to all for filling in the blanks in my feeble memory.

Sandi: There were a couple of things here possibly worthy of inclusion in your Downside Legacy.

  1. The Secret Service threats against Mancow, and

  2. That Roger Clinton couldn't get into the DNC convention without Mancow's help.

I will hunt around for a transcript and let you know if I find it.

My daughter (a huge Mancow and Fox News fan) is in New York now and happened to be outside of the windows waving her arms and all that during the show. She was talking to me on her cell and I was taping the show for her. She started going ballistic and telling me "There's Mancow" over and over. I told her to go up to him so she did and got her picture with him just before he went up to Doocy and started kissing him. She was pretty excited.

I saw her, too. She got a little too distracting while Mancow was talking, and it took the producer three tries to get a camera shot that worked, but Mancow was done talking by then.

Thanks! It's her first trip to New York and I'm sure meeting Mancow will be the highlight. She's a conservative Republican and that's the most excited I've seen her since she called me from Hawaii after the 2000 election (after I'd gone to bed thinking Gore had won) and told me they'd called Florida wrong and Bush had actually won.
