Resolved, That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan, do hereby proclaim June, 2003, as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month. I encourage all citizens to observe this month with appropriate programs, ceremonies and activities which celebrate our diversity and recognize the GLBT Americans whose many and varied contributions have enriched our lives in this state and in the nation.

I'd have to get remarried on another day if that ever became National Law.

Ten years ago, I would not have even bothered to click on this thread; would simply have assumed it to be satire. Then we had Bill Clinton--and "Gay Pride" months, etc..
Nevertheless, this is fit only for satire. The idea of a State proclaiming a celebration of pride in perversion, is surely to mock not only religioius values, but any and every aspect of the human experience, which depends upon a recognition of truth: An acceptance of reality, the pursuit of knowledge, the importance of understanding what is true and enduring, and what is not.
I have been concerned about the border between the Southwestern States and Mexico. But if this is where Michigan is going, I think that we Ohioans will need to start worrying about our Northern border. This is almost beyond belief. Yet thanks to Clinton's Fabian Agenda, it is not quite.

What the heck is a trans-gender? I thought there was only male and female. Are they trans-forming into animals? What? Maybe we should give them what they want and then they will shut up! Nah.

Next, go to: What You Can Do
My suggestion would be to set up an
Encourage desk at every Catholic church along the parade route, or at least near the Cardinal's cathedral. : )

Some of you Freepers in Michigan should be attending the Gay Pride marches with a video camcorder. There should be some real good footage to be supplied to the campaigns of those who run against her in the next election.
The gay movement allows NAMBLA and others, whose perversions are visually obvious, to participate in these parades. The press has shown no interest in [forgive the term] "exposing" them. It's up to us.

The only good thing I have gotten out of Michigan is my husband and my baby daughter. My older daughter and I were born in Cleveland.
Granholm won by only 51% I was one of the people fighting against her because of her abortion stand. God help us.

I celebrated that "month" from 1987-1995. Still do occasionally.
