O'Reilly to Jump On the President Tonight?
Posted on 06/04/2003 8:01:01 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
I see an ad for tonight's O'Reilly factor asking where are the weapons of Mass Destruction.
The ad is very dramatic and makes it look like Bill's gonna really start questioning where the WMD are tonight.
Bill believes that everyone is accountable to him. He says though that when he says someone is accountable to him, he really meanas the audience.
The ad is very dramatic, talking about the war, then that fades to black, and then silence with the words... WHERE ARE THEY???
Were reports of Iraqs weapons of mass destruction greatly exaggerated? Don't miss The Factor at 8 & 11 p.m. ET! E-mail: oreilly@foxnews.com Get more Bill: billoreilly.com

If O'Reilly starts freaking out on the WMD issue, I will change the channel. The Home & Garden channel is an alternative to Bush bashing.
IMO, O'Reilly thinks he has to be fair and present the issue of the missing WMD. The only problem is Saddam had WMD, and God willing, we'll find it.
Everytime O'Reilly annoys me, I remember how he came to the historic State Theater in Jan. and DONATED his speaking appearance for a fundraiser. The theater was sold out and a lot of money was raised.

Where is the factor on the radio.
I was told he was going to knock out NPR and Rush, they are still both here where is he.
Let me put it this way for mr o, my tivo is set to record neil cavuto and special report.
No mr o there, thats my opine.
I get tired of people slaming the shrub for doing the right thing, to bad he signed CFR and more funding for the teachers unions.

well I mostly agree with you on this,
but i must point out that everyone constantly underestimates Pres.Bush.
I think they are again, judging the way Bush has handle things in the past,
he will wait until the media storm is at it's peak,
and surprise U.S. and Coalition forces have just found a massive WMD cache.
Slam dunk, or grand slam for Pres.Bush AGAIN!!!!!!!!!1

There is no way I am going to watch this idiot bash our president. O'Reilly really has delusions of adequacy, and he's making a real pest of himself. What was that gossip show he used to be on? Hard Copy? Inside Edition? I used to enjoy him on that but he's over the top now.

Here's my chain of reasoning:
Sadaam had the WMDs. He admitted it and the UN reported it in the 90s.
Saddam didn't destroy them. If he had, he would have shown some evidence to avoid war with the US. Any eveidence from him, any at all, would have sufficed to put us in a very difficult position in April 2003.
If he didn't destroy them, then where are they? Well, they're buried, a likely possibility, or they're in Syria, or both. Take your pick. If he did destroy them then he must have done it as our troops crossed the border. In that case, we were fully justified and our President was completely truthful.
The fundamental question for the doubters is: If he didn't destroy them, then where are they? They didn't disappear into thin air.

OK. Fine. I'd just never heard what had happened.

I thought BOR did a good job on his show during the Iraq war. He had good intel guys on, and rebutted the liberal media spin of a quagmire. He had the same guys on for weeks afterwards dicussing possible WMD finds. There's nothing wrong with digging for answers here, sooner or later the WMDs will be found.

I, too, agree that Sadam had plenty of time to hide or sell WMD components during the years the UN inspectors were kept away. I heard an obscure report of trucks and trenches in the Becca(?) Valley of Lebanon. Don't know if anyone is looking into this besides Israel.
As far as Mr. O--he's really moderate/liberal on most social issues, is a former teacher and has no trouble castigating "folks" like Jerry Falwell. Enough said! As a conservative I find myself watching ALL news programs with a grain of salt.

"Bill also said that he believes AlGore would not have acted any differently after 911 than did our President Bush."
He also said that Gore would have won if he would have appeared on Bill's show.

I have never found OReilly to be a conservative and do not know what the left has been getting their knickers in a twist about all these years. He constantly criticizes the Clinton's.
In their minds, they do not need another reason?

I have never found OReilly to be a conservative and do not know what the left has been getting their knickers in a twist about all these years. He is a self-promoting, supercilious buffoon who climbs on the populist bandwagon whenever it can bring him publicity. I just about puke every time he calls normal people "the folks". It is like saying "the great unwashed" it is so condescending. "The folks" doesn't include OReilly, obviously, because he is rich and famous. He gives me the creeps.According to the libs, anyone who criticizes their stances and leaders are part of the VRWC, which is why Ralph Nader confuses them so... They want to call him a conservative when he criticizes them, but it's usually because he feels that they're too right wing... And for them to call Ralph a conservative just wouldn't work, and they know it!
