Under this nut's "logic," shouldn't he be charged with cruelty to the scallops?

Ask this looney toon if he wants to take the lobster's place, as in 'Tale of Two Cities' with a large pot of boiling water to replace madame guillotine.

Who Cries For The Krill?

Ha! Years ago, an Australian entrepreneur (I was in the seafood importing bidniss) had this great scheme on commercializing a "Krill industry"....it failed, and last I heard he was in jail for some other harebrained thang that got his bum burned.

In Australia, they either "drown" the lobbies (by way of water temp changes) or "screw the tails off" to get the lobstah tails. Neither method qualifies as cruel, and the Aussie DPI (Department of Primary Industries)lads are not far behind the Americanese in the PETA area.

"Screwing the tails" (Easy Mr. Clinton...it ain't what you think) involves taking the cray and giving it a quick twist at the appropriate segment.

When I left the finger lakes area about the only thing I missed was Wegmans. All grocery stores should model themselves after Wegmans.

Thanks for the pings!

I grew up near this area and we spent a lot of time at Canandaigua Lake in the summer... I still remember having picnics on the itty-bitty island right out in the middle -it's about the size of a 2-car garage ;-)
