According to a former Bill Clinton staffer, Senator Hilary Rodham Clinton is paying for some national polling the will guage her political and personal popularity while she makes her national television appearances and speaks about her book.
I'ts all part of a summer long decision making process about whether she should make a run for the 2004 Democratic Presidential Nomnation this time around,' says the Former Clinton staffer.
'Bill really wants her to do it.'
The rumours of Mrs. Clinton possibly entering the race are being taken seriously enough that some Democrats in New York and planting negative comments about her in the press in an attempt to temper her national political aspirations.
'She made a committment to this party, to this state, to serve as Senator for six years,' says a state party operative from Upstate New York.
'She and her people know full well what went into her getting the nomination. She should not back out on promises the she-and her husband--made to us. They should focus on the state and their constitutients.

Okay. We disagree that Hillary is, has been or ever will be a threat to our country. I wish I had your confidence in the American voting public.

Relax! It is thrilling to note that Hillary has the political deck stacked against her like nobody ever has.
First of all, she's got to get reelected to the Senate in '06. Rudy may have beaten her in 2000. But, the post-9/11 Saint Rudy will kick her big, stinky hinder in '06!
Plus, just look at her baggage:
1. She begins her quest for the White House with approximately 50% of the people in the U.S. detesting her.
2. She's a woman, in a post-9/11 world.
3. She's not a respectable woman like, say, Condi, she's a bitch.
4. She'd either be running from the Senate or without an elected office.
5. She has no regional roots. She's the ultimate {two time} carpetbagger.
6. She's an attorney.
7. She's not a wily, rapier-sharp attorney who, at least, might engender respect for her intellect. She's a blithering incompetent lawyer!
8. She is a paranoid, insecure, clumsy campaigner.
Add to the list, everybody!!

I wonder what moron would put her on the ticket as veep? Hee hee. Talk about a future Darwin Award winner...
To: ewing
But, with all eyes trained on her during the campaign, she will get the blame for the flame-out. The Dems and the media can't say, "It's a daunting task to unseat a popular incumbent President but if anyone can save the Dem ticket, it's Hillary", and then absolve her after the crash landing!

Remember, "There are no second acts in American politics." How many failed VP candidates went on to be elected President, versus those who faded into obscurity? Talk about trying to draw to an inside straight!

Does this mean that we no longer have to pay for her babysitters? Wasn't that just until she FINALLY got out of school?

EMILY's List, the left-wing feminist underwriter of Democratic candidates, has seen a 30 percent decrease in its fundraising over the past year....... Emily's list is a PRO-ABORTION PAC, the largest PAC in America....when they suffer, babies live!!

You know what? I think the divorce is still coming.
Here is the scenario:
1.) Hillary divorces Bill, leaving people to speculate that she is "really her own woman now", gaining points with the feminists for dumping the wayward spouse.
2.)Hillary announces as a candidate for President.
3.)Bill Clinton endorses Hillary, suggesting he would love to work to get her elected, no matter their past differences. He says "America needs Hillary". Women swoon.
4.)Hillary invites Bill to work on her campaign, inviting media speculation about a possible reconciliation. No other candidate gets so much media attention. Talk shows are devoted to Hill and Bill. Women swoon.
5.)90 days before the election; Bill and Hillary announce that they are "still in love" and that they will remarry the day BEFORE the election, so as to prove it is not political. Women Swoon, men panic.
6.)Women swooning; they overwhelmingly award Hill and Bill the White House the next day for a Honeymoon gift.
What can be done about it? Absolutely nothing.
