But, with all eyes trained on her during the campaign, she will get the blame for the flame-out. The Dems and the media can't say, "It's a daunting task to unseat a popular incumbent President but if anyone can save the Dem ticket, it's Hillary", and then absolve her after the crash landing!

Remember, "There are no second acts in American politics." How many failed VP candidates went on to be elected President, versus those who faded into obscurity? Talk about trying to draw to an inside straight!
