PLATTSBURGH Although speculation remains alive that U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton may yet wind up as the Democratic Partys candidate for president next year, she says she doesnt lie awake at night dreaming of becoming the first woman president.
Partly because shes too tired.
"I dont think like that. Im so exhausted when I get in bed at night that I immediately pass out, she laughed during an interview with the Press-Republican Editorial Board Friday afternoon.
On a serious note, though, Clinton said she is not thinking of a White House run at this time, even though prominent Democrats such as former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, a presidential candidate himself, say she would make a good leader.
"(Dean is) a friend of mine, and hes been a very good governor, and I very much appreciate his kind words, but he, and the other people in this race, are going to determine who the next president is going to be, she said.
"Three years ago I didnt even know I would be sitting here as a senator. ... Right now I am just so interested in what I am learning and the whole process that Im a part of now.
No matter who the Democratic candidate is, Clinton believes her party has a chance to recapture the White House even though polls show President George W. Bush with high popularity ratings.
"Its hard right now. The atmosphere is so dominated by the administration for obvious reasons, but I do believe evidence and results actually do count for something, and eventually, the president will be held accountable for many of the decisions that he and his colleagues have made over the last several years, Clinton said.
"The country pretty much is divided 50-50, so I think we actually have a good chance. I think that it will come down to turnout.
No, of course she doesn't think of it at night, she actively pursues the lands highest office by day though strategic planning and veiled public policy shifts.
I opened my dictionary to the word "sociopath" and was stunned to find that Hillary!'s picture had been omitted. But then, it's an old dictionary.

Why would you expect that to stop her?
Satans daughter never sleeps
I recall her saying the same BS right before she ran for the Senate
There is a Texas saying: "Don't keep trying to drill a dry hole".

The current Democratic nine candidates beat each other's heads in for the next year. Primary victories are spread out amongst them, they enter the convention with none of them having enough delegates to win the nomination.
At this point we have a deadlocked convention, which after much backroom dealing and battling turns to....who else?
Hilary is offered the nomination and ,of course, accepts in a brilliantly managed media event on the conventions' climactic evening. Now she only has to run a two month campaign, which she can easily tapdance through.
The Republicans have not prepared to battle her and are offstride for most of the two months...Hilary wins a close one, largely aided by massive voter fraud in Illinois,New Jersey and New York,as well as some other formerly "safe" states.
Scary,huh?
Nope. She lies awake at night scheming to become the first woman president.
Yes, Hillary won her life time membership for the story about how she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary 6 years before he climbed Mt. Everest.
...very soon after...one week max...the 'RAT Pres. will resign very quickly w/ fear in their eyes... :/
...or, buy it while passing a grassy knoll.
50/50? Huh?
no contest..
...or passing an curb inlet.. :|
On another point "three years ago" the carpetbagger had filed with the FEC for NY Senator AND for Presidential campaigns. All the donations were placed under the senatorial heading.
Then who does Janet Reno have to talk to when that happens?
