No temper. I'm very calm. What mealy-mouthed euphemism makes you feel warm and fuzzy about the carnage of the innnocents? It's an easy question.

While my perspective is that killing murderers the way Eric is alleged to have done is wrong, the wrong form of justice - from Eric's perspective, who knows, he may truly believe that by killing murderers and their accomplices, he was performing in an act of high civil disobedience that he believed worthwhile his potential loss of liberty - and his life itself.

That's a lovely story, but this guy placed timed and centrally located shrapnel explosives to kill and terrorize people. Not Gynocologists practicing abortions, not nurses ... just anybody handy. Fed Ex guy, Mailman, Office Depot delivery, two guys for Bell South rewiring the PBX. Whoever was in the area got shredded.

The guy killed indiscriminately. He ran and hid, and he would still be hiding tonight if not caught. He maimed and murdered and terrorized, and if it was a cop or firefighter, well that's a good media hook.

Your scenario is fiction. He's a vile scumbag. I hope he dies in this larger cause. He's taking the down elevator boss. This guy will die a coward and killer, and I hope there is a manhunt to find out who gave him sanctuary all these years. Conspiracy and Accessory to Murder One, take that cockroach(s) and make federal prison his only home for the rest of his life. All the mountain boys involved, send them to a concrete box till they die. No more greenery, no more sweet air. They're criminals and they need to go away forever. No loss, they have all their limbs and organs still - unlike this guys "civil disobedience" targets.

I think he's guilty, but let the trial unfold. Win the verdict. Give him adequate appeals. Then fry him. I'll flip him the bird when the deed is done.

"1) You cannot confirm that you will not be harming innocents by your actions. There will always be the possibility that someone that you "didn't mean to be there" will be there."

Some nearly 1,200 (and counting) Iraqis were 'collateral damage' in the liberation of Iraq. What does your logic make our President? Just wondering...

"2) Your moral high ground is lost by the killing of another human being. How can you stand up and say that you are pro-life, when you use that platform to kill? Doesn't that make you no better than the people that you are saving?"

Moral high ground? I don't cross the line into accepting that this is how the war should be fought for truly innocent life that is being slaughtered (over 40 million 'legally' in America since 1973). Not at this point anyway. I do believe in the defense of innocent life, but am not moved to bombing aborticide sanctuaries or killing aborticiders and their accomplices. I have yet to be persuaded that stopping a murderer from murdering an innocent, helpless victim by killing them, if need be, is 100% morally wrong however. Again, legal=lethal and laws are enacted to make unlawful acts legal.

"3) By taking the law into their own hands, they are negating their own cause, which is to have the laws concerning abortion changed. This shows that they don't believe the law always applies, so what right do they have to lobby for a law to be changed? Just a thought."

This is mostly true from my perspective and how I 'fight' this 'war'. I do not condone this act of civil disobedience, but I can fully understand the perspective, if in fact we do ever determine the true intent of the bomber(s).

"What mealy-mouthed euphemism makes you feel warm and fuzzy about the carnage of the innnocents? It's an easy question."

Again with the rhetoric, inflammatory and as emotional as ever.

The term(s) are, properly: abortion, pregnancy termination, etc. and so on, as well you know but hate to admit.

It is obvious that further conversation with you would be wholly pointless, as my original points about these psycho terrs was totally ignored, in favor of an attack on a factual statement you find distateful. So be it.

I believe that I said that I understood the perspective, and, as I was writing my mini-thesis, I was making the same arguments to myself that you made to me, including the Iraq comparison.

I see the perspective. I still don't condone the actions. It's a matter of my personal principle.

What you and man-made laws derine as one thing, others, quite competently it appears, see completely differently.

If you prefer to sugar-coat it, that's your prerogative - but that doesn't make someone else wrong...

I concur with the content of your post and do not wish to partake in nor advocate this form of 'justice', if indeed that was the intent.

That being said, at what point do the Hebrew midwives stop drowning the Jewish babies in the river just because the Egyptian pharoah has a hard-on for murdering innocent Jews?

Kevin, you aren't God. You don't have His proxy. You want to kill an American in lawful endeavor, ambush them in a faceless murder ... well, it is YOUR program that needs to be stopped. You're an assassin, you are not the arbiter of life or death, and our society can never abide politically justified murder.

The War on Terror is deadly serious. There's no shading on this issue. You kill a law abiding American in ambush ... I want you gone.

Nothing to gape at here, just another unibomber. Eventually, we get all of them after a few false starts and wrongfull arrests, but it's better than doing nothing, isn't
it?

"If you prefer to sugar-coat it, that's your prerogative - but that doesn't make someone else wrong..."

Actually, it does. The law has very clear definitions of crimes, including murder. No sugarcoating is needed.

I do find it interesting, that many of those who think that Rudolph was somewhat justified in his sick fantasies because they feel he "was stopping more murders" nonetheless fall right back on the same law they disagree with to protect his rights...the same rights, BTW, he took forever from his victims in a manner which TOTALLY fits the definition of murder.

Oh, and by continually (and legally inaccurately) calling abortion providers "murderers", you provide encouragement for these maniacs. You might consider this when the urge to use the inflammatory rhetoric strikes.

Oh please...more thought control. Read what you want to sport. We're not going anywhere. Abortion providers are killers to many of us. If you can't handle that then tough. I'll be damned if I'll see this forum go soft on abortion because the likes of you have an issue with the choice of words. I'm sure Rudolph and his ilk sit around getting all geeked up by FR rhetoric. You sound just like the liberal media that blamed McVeigh on Falwell, Limbaugh, Liddy, and the like. Not suprising....your gang holds some sway here but unless JR boots us off, we (I'm) not tempering my decription of the truth to suit your tender sensibilities.

All the wishing and ranting in the world will not change that. And continually referring to it so, and also by calling providers "serial killers" (again, without ANY regard for the true definitions of the term) only encourages REAL psycho killers

You're right. I can't stop the carnage. I will never stop the mass murder of the most innocent and helpless among us. But I will be DAMNED if I will allow the truth to be murdered as well, just to salve my soul temporarily.

Legally, abortionists are simply doctors performing medical procedures. Morally, they are callous, vicious, unfeeling gutter-practice ghouls who profit from the wholesale mass murder of children as a business.

If I can only protect the truth from being suffocated by mealy-mouthed, spineless, defenders of this brutal and barbaric practice, I will have accomplished some good after all.

Nutcase killers such as Rudolph have their own vile agenda that proceeds from the same father of lies who inspired Roe v. Wade. But those lies do not stain the truth, and I will not be intimidated into standing down from the truth simply because the father of lies may be able to twist it into weapon in the corrupt brains of "psycho killers."

The Olympic Park bombing used an M.O. recently seen used in Jerusalem: nail bomb in a backpack.

The first thing I noticed this afternoon is that the feebs gave him the "triple name" demonization. He didn't do the Olympic Park bombing...no way.

If you've read all of my posts tonight on this thread, you will clearly see that I do NOT condone the act, if indeed it was the intent (which you don't necessarily, by your posts, agree was his intent) of Eric or any aborticide clinic bomber to stop the murder of innocents.

Again, many laws are created to make unlawful acts legal.

In this case, I firmly and with unwavering fervor, personally believe that aborticide is indeed callous, calculated murder, regardless what a man-made law says it is.

I stop short, however, of condoning this form of civil disobedience (if indeed we ever truly find out intent) and prefer to work within a messed up system to make it better.
