I have to give the son some credit. He wants no part of Barbara during his last days on this earth. This action probably reflects the deep pain he's experienced because of the actions of his mother toward him. AIDS is not a nice way to go and I wish him God's blessing and forgiveness. Barbara deserves neither but I wish it for her also.

weak father figure I have noticed, during my fairly long life that, very often , a man coming from a family where the mother is the strong personality has more of a tendency to be gay. I am, in no way, an expert in this area, just an observation.

There is something to said of your theory.
The article said he had full-blown AIDS. Wonder why billyjeff never caught it?

I feel bad for him too.
But don't they have some pretty good treatments available to HIV patients now? I mean, look at Andrew Sullivan, whatever he's doing, it's keeping him in pretty good shape. I wish the same for Jason.
He was good in that movie that his mom played a psychiatrist (sp?) in.
She had a bit of a hellish existence herself. I remember on a 60 minutes program she broke down when she told the story of her step father telling her she was 'too ugly for ice-cream'.
I must say I did laugh too, not so much at her, but at the bluntness of her stepdad's ways.

I don't feel sorry for any AIDS victims.
For the vast majority, I agree, but there are those who contact it in other ways (blood transfusions, children of mothers with AIDS)....I feel sorry for them.

The article said he had full-blown AIDS.
Actually, I think the article says that he is HIV positive but doesn't have AIDS. That is the case with Magic Johnson. It is possible that Gould could just be HIV positive for years and not show any symptoms of AIDS

He was good in that movie that his mom played a psychiatrist (sp?) in. Did he play the psychiatrist's son? If so, you remember how disrespectfully the son treated his mother when she first brought the football coach home? I bet he and his mother didn't have to practice that scene.

I don't feel sorry for any AIDS victims. For some reason I started thinking of that adulteress the town was stoning before Jesus showed up. Just random neuron firings I guess.

I just hope that Jason Gould "sees the light" and goes and "sins no more". We have to try to remember that it does him, Jason Gould, no good to deny that he is harming himself.

she just wants to put him in a protective bubble so no one can hurt him. Hey! Babs! I think all the hurting he got came from you.

Putting Jason in the ground just yet may be a tad premature. Many people are living 15-20 years after their diagnosis of having the bug.
This gives IT a chance to give aids to many other ITS.

Geez, Streisand's son is an LA faggot! Who would have thunk it? And, he picked up AIDS from some other tinkerbell? The only remaining questions seem to be, "How is Streisand going to blame her son's faggitude and the consequences of his deviant perversions on President Bush and the Republicans?" She will, you know. Count on it!

As much as I dislike Barbra, this is very sad, and I do have compassion for her and her son. Until I read this, I had no idea her son had aids, or that he was gay. Prayers for both of them going up.

Please accept my sympathy for your losses. No one understands the pain of loss until they experience it. Time doesn't really help as they say it does, you just learn to deal with it.
