After the Indy 500 race, catch all the action in a 400 lapper from Lowe's Motor Speedway.
God Bless our Armed Forces members and families.
Never Forget those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and this nation and its allies.

If that pig grilling vortex fails to develop, I think I may be partially to blame. My family talked me into cooking chicken today...

Oh yeah, lots of traffic problems and accidents (Ten-Fifties) being discussed.
It's on the Charlotte system now. I'll switch it to Concord's system shortly.

Uh-oh.

Final Authority, you are 10000% on target!
Supermodifieds are some the most incredible machines I've ever seen. They raced them years ago at the now defunct Flemington Speedway in NJ. They were turning lap speeds of 146 on a half mile track. It was an awsome show.
Mario Andretti was dirt poor when he started. He appeared at least once on the 1/5-mile paved track at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, NY. He finished sixth in his first appearance in, I believe, 1961.
I don't appreciate the "Big Leagues" nearly as much as I do the "Regular Joes" who race every Saturday night at our 5/8-mile clay oval in Middletown. The paved oval is long gone, but the legends linger...
I missed the 500. Who won?
I will be watching the '600 later.
Enjoy!

It's about 10 miles northeast of Charlotte.

For those that clean their grill between uses I'll offer a tip...After you take the meat off and with the heat still on take a bowl of water and a Long Handled brass brush, dip brush in water and steam the grill. It will losen the drippins and aid the cleaning. Takes only a couple of minutes for the average grill.

If you were driving from Charlotte, here's a map:
LMS is the #2 black dot.
