The Washington Times is being delivered to homes in Baltimore now. Beats having to chase around to the Royal Farms Stores everyday to find a copy!

There was a story yesterday or this morning about the U.S. negotiating surrender terms with Uday Hussein. Details were sketchy -- he's probably holed up right now in a flea-bag motel in Paris.

"For example, George Will is in there whenever he writes something. It's not as bad as it used to be - politically speaking."
Actually, for columnists yesterday (5/22) we had Don Rumsfeld, George Will, Jim Hoagland, and Sen. Lugar.
Not a real solid leftist in the bunch.
Overall, except for the occasional outrageous headline bias and the editorials, the Washington Post trends more to center than the consistently leftist NY Times.

They say he's in Iraq somewhere... His motivation to come in from the cold is that he will certainly be killed by the 'street' if he is discovered. He may make a deal to finally confirm his father's death.

LOL, I bet they were not found today :-), Bush plays Chess not Checkers :-)

I saw an interview with a 3-star general in Iraq. He said there was NO negotiating and if he wants to turn himelf in, it would be unconditional.
I liked that.
Apparently, The cards still alive and in baghdad are more worried about what the Iraqis might do to them than what the US would do. *L*

A "hero's welcome" would be nice, but they aren't going to do that.
I doubt he'll appear in public anywhere - security and all that.

Uh, just one little question: French-supplied passports for whom?
MM
To: Destro
Don't think so.
And we won't embarrass them at the meeting by confronting them with the passport issue.
I't ll be interesting to see what they do. Maybe they've voted us out. *L*

You may well be right, Destro, but after being hit with the passport issue, they will no doubt be wondering what else the US has been sandbagging.

That commie Korn from whatever leftist crew he comes from already spinning "the passports are forged" propoganda on Greta's show David Korn writes for The Nation. When I.F. Stone, Eric Alterman's mentor and a suspected KGB agent, was editor of Korn's magazine, The Nation declared that there were no slave labor camps in the Soviet Union because slavery could only exist in a capitalist country.
Btw...what is it with Korn's mouth? Something weird going on there. E.J. Dionne has a similiar problem.

I don't know what the French passport issue may prove? I did not hear the report so I don't know the details of this passport issue.

I think that W is sandbagging on WMD. There have been only fascinating tid bits(ie the trucks, etc). This conferencewould be a marvellous time to slap down a comprehensive report and invite Chirac to eat merde.
