Here's a teaser from Drudge:
A U.S. military intelligence team in Iraq has uncovered a dozen French passports, and defense officials believe other French passports from the same batch were used by Iraqis to flee the country... Developing...

Did anyone listen to Hannity yesterday? I was actually on with him early in his broadcast but he kept talking about how "Chirac planeed to embarass Bush at next week's meeting of the G-8" and I never heard the story? Can anyone clue me in? This should be goooood.

Just remember: the well informed American needs to read the Times and the Post.
The Washington Times, and the New York Post!

"Hey bud, get it right, Bill Gertz would never work for the washingtonpost, they are no better than the new your slimes.........he works for the Washington Times, the BEST Newspaper in Washington, DC."
Actually, I get the post every morning, but read the times on-line first, The post has.... hehe..... a better sports section. Anyway, the Post actually has becoe pretty balanced in it's reporting and who it's op-ed columists are. For example, George Will is in there whenever he writes something. It's not as bad as it used to be - politically speaking. It's not the NYTimes or the LATimes for sure.

RE #1
French could now claim that it was rogue officials who did it not the French government. I am sure that they can spew more web of excuses. French may end up looking more like Clinton covering up his lies.

Today, the was a conference somewhere about the mid-east roadmap thingy, and Powell was asked about meeting with Arafat. His response was that our administration is pretty clear on the issue of Arafat. The the French Foreign Minister (I never remember his name) said HE was going to meet with Arafat. MAYBE the French are going to smuggle Arafat out of his compound, past Israeli security, and have him say Howdy doody to Bush at the G-8 conference

Didn't the French accuse the U.S. for lying in the press? The axis of weasels broadens. How Clintonesque of the Froggies to suddenly claim that the US leaks lies to the press - when they know the story is just about to come out. Clinton jumps up a suit in the weasel deck...

I love it. That frog Chirac will be the laughing stock of the summit. If I were GWB, I'd suddenly come down with a cold and stay in Texas. ;)

How in the world will Dominique de Villepin spin this to Colin Powell? This explains why Powell was able to calmly accept de Villepin's not so subtle stab in the back at this morning's G8 press conference.

I'm glad I can read the Washington Times on-line. He's always breaking NEW stories....... wonder who his contacts are, I like the guy. Bill Gertz seems to have a lot of good sources in the military/intelligence communities. I suspect that they feed the stuff to Bill because they know that he'll print it and not hide it like the Washington Compost or the NYTimes would do.
I go out every morning to get my hard-copy of the Washington Times. It's the greatest. I've been reading it for well over ten years.
