Yeah, ok......well anyway, this report is kind of confusing: Is the baby's body present too, or is it now being suggested that it was delievered, and then she was killed?
Does anyone know?

Everything that I've read indicates that the baby was delivered "naturally" post mortem. Somewhere here on FR is a thread that describes something called coffin birth; I'm no expert, but the article indicated that the natural gasses that build up create enough pressure for the baby to be expelled through the birth canal.

Forensic experts have theorized that due to the condition of Connor's body compared to Laci's - he was in MUCH better condition, he remained in her womb when she was killed and was eventually expelled naturally by gases that built up during decomposition, commonly referred to in their world as a "coffin birth."

A near term pregnant corpse will rot, and gas pressure can build up in the uterus, eventually popping the dead fetus out of the birth canal like a cork from a champagne bottle.
At least that's how some talking head on Fox described it.

They found the baby washed up on the shore a ways from Laci's body, if that's what you are asking.

In other reports it is said that the baby would be expelled from the womb vaginally as the body decayed. So it is possible that the baby came out well after they both were dead.

It is suggesting that the organs were removed, yet the baby and uterus were intact.
Can a doctor tell me if this even possible?

From the article: "The womb, however, is intact -- suggesting that the nearly full-term baby was not cut out of Lacis body but was expelled naturally after she was killed."

when a woman is that far along in her pregnancy, the body will expel the baby shortly after death. The baby was found in the water with the umbilical cord still attached.
