The 6 footer was the only legitimate birdie opportunity; the putts at 12-15 feet are marginal at best. Anything over that would not normally be called a putt for birdie.
Maybe at the local goat pasture. Six footers are gimme's on tour. Most pro's will routinely make 20-30 foot putts or more.
I disagree. And so do most golfers I know, including the announcers. If Tiger has a 15 footer you don't think that's concidered a birdie putt?
