Law School finals are over. (I'm actually into the second week of Sumemr classes). If it was a student, it was a disgruntled one (although grades aren't reported for another month yet), not a stressed-out one.

Actually, they've had Yale law students on tv saying that they ARE in the middle of exams.

Historically, the psychological profile of a student who harbors a violent grudge against his or her school would, if to choose action, use a small weapon vs. a bomb that destroys an entire floor of the building.

Witness on FNC is now telling Gibson that a student in the basement saw a stairwell collapse. Napolitano says Yale's walls and floors are 3" thick oak and it would take a serious explosion to cause damage? I heard the 5th floor partially collapsed as well as a wall of the alumni lounge. New reports saying (bomb) may have been in a 1st floor classroom NEAR the mailroom.

But NYC wasn't targeted - the World Trade Center towers were for a specific reason - capitalism.

True, but it was more a matter of the WTC as a major *symbol*, whereas Yale isn't a symbol of anything that I can think of right now.

It's just like how the Pentagon was hit because it's THE most significant symbol of our military might, and hitting, say, the Agriculture Dept. or the Education Dept. wouldn't have had the same ...pardon the awful pun... bang for the buck.
