Wouldn't it be a big surprise if the EPA actually got an administrator who was inclined to solve the problems by better technology instead of endless cries for more government control? Don't look for it to happen soon.

This is good news -- but, like the State Dept, the real problem isn't the Secretary, it's all the career civil servants. EPA will be a problem for decades -- unless it is disbanded.

Amen, regardless of whom GW replaces her with, the EPA will not change as you have noted with this reply:
