If the terrorists really had something planned in the U.S., why would they tip their hand by first bombing places in Saudi Arabia?

If the terrorists really had something planned in the U.S., why would they tip their hand by first bombing places in Saudi Arabia? Making us feel they spent their ammo. That we have breathing room before they target us again. Hoping that our agencies focus on attacks they are planning in the middle east as opposed to focusing on homeland attacks.

MSNBC: Threat level raised to high (orange)
To: So Cal Rocket
Wow! didn't know that.
To: Nexus
I wonder if it was a close call between going to orange or going straight to red? Of course, orange could be prelude for red if the threat information becomes even more specific in the next 48 hours. And, since we've never had a red (severe) threat level, red may create a certain amount of panic to add to the uncertainty already existing.

Christians churches should be on high alert on Saturdays and Mondays for the foreseeable future. Halloween and December 26 also should be high-alert days as well......

Well, for a start, The president could get serious about policing the borders>>>>>>>>>>>
If 9-11 didn't make ANYONE get serious about our borders,
nothing else will.
With over 4 million trucks crossing every year @ ONE point,
in TX, we are still only searching 1% of them.
Gee, I wonder how all those illegals & drugs (& WHO knows what else) make it across our borders...????

I'm sure a lot of you remember the infamous calendar from Sept 2001 with an airliner headed for the heart of Manhattan. I don't. Could anyone elaborate?

They are doing everything they can everywhere (Saudi, Israel), regardless of the size or dramatics of the attacks -- to let the world know they are still operating and not completely defeated. After Afghanistan and Iraq, they feel the strong need to re-establish their bonafides. If that means smaller scale attacks (like are seen in Israel), perhaps in larger numbers, then that's what they'll do.
They want the world to know they aren't all gone and they still hate us, and will try to kill us wherever and however they can.
They're into activity, not into subterfuge, so they couldn't care less whether we are alerted or not.

Exactly. The media and Dems, however, will be the first ones to blame GWB if an attack occurs. And you know what? I think that many Americans will actually agree with the lies. I know I won't. GWB has said from the get go that attacks will probably happen again.

If something major does go down, we can thank our splendid leaders, GOP and Democratic, at national, state and local levels, for being wonderfully
politically correct and unoffensive to the terrorists in our midst and oh so helpful all these days.
They will have now had:
ONE YEAR, EIGHT MONTHS and NINE DAYS to have done the following for the sake of national security:
1) Complete SEALING of the United States Borders; and
2) Location and Expulsion of All Male Middleeast Nationals That Are Not U.S. Citizens As Well as All Middle Easterners Who Have Violated Their Stay
Instead, they (and their allies in the media) farted around for all that time, taking shoes off at mosques for photo ops in the Halls of the Religion of Peace, chasing white trucks for snipers, ruling LAX shootings as 'random', endlessly running the insane "I AM an American!" propaganda Ad- Council TV ads that basically told us not risk being a 'racist' by being alert, shaking down grandmothers and Medal of Honor winners at airports and forcing them to take off shoes or strip privately, slandering and ridiculing as 'racist' and 'trigger happy' the good Americans who merely reported suspicious activity and conversation of Middle Eastern males at a Georgia coffee shop...and the list goes on and on and on.
The buzzards may well come home to roost. The barn door's open, Goober. And I thought 9-11 was a strong enough wake up call......

My question is this: how hard would be for a Middle Eastern cab driver to turn his cab into a car bomb? I mean, when you think of the number of Arab cab drivers in NYC, DC, etc., wouldn't this be the perfect cover for them? Cabs go everywhere in major cities...

While driving to work here in Las Vegas this morning there were several black unmarked helicopters circling the entire downtown strip area. I haven't seen this since shortly after the 9/11 attacks.
