Now now now. I know the rats are having a few little feuds among themselves, but Gerri couldn't possibly flip off Colmes could she?

She could have been propsition....oh, never mind. I highly doubt it.
To: FreeManWhoCan
I didn't watch long enough to see her. I was too busy emailing Colmes about misinterpreting what President Bush said about Al Queda people who were captured or killed not being a threat anymore. Alan thinks Bush meant all of Al Queda not being a threat, instead of what Bush said, which was very clear, about the ones caught and/or captured not being a threat. Sheesh, did you catch that?

Alan thinks Bush meant all of Al Queda not being a threat...That's not a mistake, they're doing that on purpose.

That is something I wondered also, but Hannity did nothing to set things straight either. So, I had to email both of them.

I know he's one of us, and I listen to him every day, but I have to say, Sean is not one of the great thinkers of our time.

Hannity is, at best a moderate.
He is not exactly one of us, he just tries to act like one.

Sean is not one of the great thinkers of our time. It's not that he's dumb, he just doesn't listen. He's always nodding and "uh-huh"ing, but he's concentrating on his next (scripted) question. On the radio, it's grating.
To: sharktrager
I think he is a committed conservative, it's just that he comes up with a phrase that he likes and never deviates from it. You could almost tape one of his shows that is dealing with a hot topic and hear the same line 2 months later.

Yeah, I emailed Colmes too - I was so upset by how he misconstrued what the President said.
The President said, "They're either dead or in custody - either way they're not a problem any more".
You only have to have an ounce of brains to misconstrue that ... as Colmes did. Colmes said the President indicated ALL AL QUEIDA are no longer a problem ...??
Soooo ... I explained it to Colmes: The President said, "either way (those that are dead or in custody) they are not a problem any more.
Personally ... I think he did it on purpose - just to create a controversy!! I'm glad I sent him an email - once he gets caught a few times, he may decide it's not so much fun!!

Anyone got a frame-grab to share with us? A picture of Geraldine actually hoisting her middle finger at Alan Colmes would be priceless beyond measure.
I would have a tee shirt made up...

This all started from an article from Maureen Dowd.
Here is a thread that shows what she said and what Bush actually said.
I was amazed she even tried to pull it off, but I guess when you are desperate, you will grasp onto anything.

You have described Sean perfectly. Scripted. Doesn't listen. Is so self absorbed it's pitiful. No exactly an intellectual.

Someone like Dowd just has to put it out there and she knows full well the faxlines will be burning up the wires and ALL the dimwits countrywide will be repeating the lie.
