Anyone else just hear a replay of a talk earlier today (19 May) by former Congressman Asa Hutchison, Homeland Defense Undersecretary for Border Control, going into detail about their new USA Visa program and how it will secure our borders at US points of entry?
[This aired on CSPAN Radio.]
I couldn't believe that talk. IS THIS REALLY BUSH ADMINISTRATION POLICY?!?!
Barf.
No wonder we are being invaded on the installment plan and the many law abiding guests and immigrants are being slapped in the face and insulted. It guess, listening to that talk, it will continue to happen regardless if the GOP or the Dems control the agencies.

Bump......The appearance and debates of the two-party system are to keep the political junkies, the media, and the long time voters busy and distracted. This is Global Governance/Corporate Governance.

STOP TUITION BENEFITS, AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS! As Citizens Lobby predicted in previous updates, the pro-illegal alien lobby is plotting to blitz Congress for legislation that favors illegal aliens and hurts U.S. citizens. The National Immigration Law Center is one such radical group in Washington that is planning to hit Capitol Hill this Monday, May 19th for a special "Lobby Day," according to FAIR. This organization plans to barrage members of Congress with demands to support H.R. 1684, the so-called Student Adjustment Act, which grants illegal aliens amnesty and access to in-state tuition benefits at state universities! This bill would also cancel deportation orders, and grant legal permanent resident status to, illegal aliens under the age of 21 who have been in the U.S. for five years. This outrageous bill must be stopped! Urge your members of Congress to OPPOSE H.R. 1684. Click this link for contact info
http://www.citizenslobby.com/congress.htm Phone calls are most important, followed by faxes, letters and e-mails. Remind your Congressman that for every illegal alien who gets a subsidized education at taxpayers expense, there is an American law-abiding citizen who will have his seat in college stolen from him... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HIRE AMERICAN CITIZENS! As college seats are being stolen from young American citizens, so too are American jobs being taken away from U.S. citizens by foreign immigrants. That is why Citizens Lobby is joining together with the American Reformation Project and the Hire American Citizens Professional Society to launch a new project to help preserve and retain American jobs for American citizens. As part of a new lobbying initiative, we plan to visit soon the offices of members of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus and members of the Subcommittee on Immigration & Claims of the House Judiciary Committee to pressure these Congressmen to take legislative action to reduce the number of temporary work visas issued to foreigners and to reform the non-immigrant visa program. Currently, over 1.3 million foreigners have jobs inside the U.S., having replaced American workers for cheaper labor costs. The high-tech industry has been hit particularly hard. L-1 visa holders (intra-company transferees from foreign countries like India, China, Korea, etc.) have grown in number by 51% from 1997 to 2001, and the numbers are still accelerating. It is a similar situation with H-1B visas. With a lackluster economy and an unemployment rate hovering near 6%, it is high time that Congress take action to drastically limit or abolish all immigrant and foreign worker visa programs to help unemployed and underemployed American citizens obtain the jobs they deserve.

When in the hell is someone in authority - other than Tom Trancredo, who has been villified - admit that we are being invaded and the illegals No one will say anything because they will be vilified too.
To: ETERNAL WARMING
I wonder if one reason health insurance cost so much is because the hospital bills for treating illegals is allocated to hospital overhead, a portion of which gets added to the bills of people who have insurance.
To: cyncooper
Yesterday's Arizona Republic was filled with articles on National Parks. One, in the front section, cited Mexicans growing marijuana, bringing in illegals to sow & tend the plants, in Sequoia!

You can be sure that is not the only tool being discussed to deal with a problem the administration fully recognizes.
While the proposal to use drones is incouraging, it's really only a test project, after all. Where do you get the impression that the Bush Administration fully recognizes that Illegals are a problem?
I can take you to see hundreds, tomorrow, and they will be back again on Wednesday.
President Bush, in my observation, has given every indication that he's probably not going to much of anything about Illegals, since his first inclination, Amnesty ("regularization," "normalization," "Section 245(i)" ... pick the euphemism of the moment), isn't too politically popular. He's sure not deporting any of the easily found "day laborers" ("migrants," "undocumented workers," etc.).
If Bush is sincere, what's the hold up?

flame me if you want, the majority of illegal imigrants in present time would have been recieved with open arms befor the vietnam WAR.

"Ass" Hutchinson.

People are going to have to realize that in order to turn this country around they have to vote their conscience. I can understand not risking it at the Presidential level but if you are going to stop being a prisoner of what everyone calls RINO's then you are going to have to vote for someone the matches your principles whether it be Libertarian, America First Party, Constitution Party etc. Get some of these people in the Congress and then a real change can begin. If you keep believing that the RINO's are the best you can do this country is doomed. These people will caucus with the most conservative which will likely be the Republicans, that is until they outnumber the Republicans.

I am born and live in America to Shop and work for the Federal and State Goverment. I watch stupid TV so I can stay stupid. I talk about sports because it won't offend anyone. I come to the FreeRepublic so I can be reminded that I have no choice in any election but to vote Republican. I will accept anything that President Bush does and no matter what I have to vote for him. The future that is coming for America is worth what? What kind of America is coming? I cannot change the future, I have to vote for the Republicans who are the same as the Democrats except for issues that will never change.
Our Leaders are selling you and I out and its just fine with the Free Republic. Excuse my rant I have to post in the Laci Peterson thread or start a new American Idols thread.
Gee its hot this Summer don't you think? After all it was a cold winter...

"But not sick enough to get out and Vote your conscience!"
How dare you jump to such a conclusion when you don't even know me! For the record, I have NEVER failed to vote in a general election (yes, I even voted absentee when I was in Asia with the Air Force during Vietnam), and have voted in virtually all local and municipal elections, and I'm in my 50s. I venture to say my voting record is light years better than the vast majority of posters on this site, probably you included.

I owe you an apology sir. I used you as the "generic" Free Republic Poster though because you posted on this thread I should have known better. I am not much younger than you but I never served in Vietnam. The military doesn't like scoliosis and when I was 18 the war was winding down to the point where the lottery draft only took the first 60 birthdays and mine was 364th. I am glad however that you posted what you did in response. If people don't vote their conscience instead of for RINO's this country is doomed. I am a strict Constitutionlist and that is the way I vote which is difficult in many elections because there are so few of them running so far.

Drones. Drones. Drones. [I'm getting tired of hear you "
drone" on, actually.]
Send the drones to fly over whole sections of Dallas, San Diego, Nashville and MacArthur Park in Los Angeles to track illegal aliens, arrest, and facilitate massive deportations. They can put up a mobile Homeland Security Office on site and process one illegal after another before putting them in the vans for la frontera. Biometric their illegal, disrespectful (of US Law) asses and if they come across the border again, tabulate their costs to our LEO, sending same to the Mexican government and likewise reduce a similiar amount of US foreign aid $$$dollars$$$ to Mexico City or central American governments. They'll get the message.

You address
me, no doubt, in #51?
Someone deserves to have their mouth washed out with Irish Spring.
I speak a number of foreign languages fluently, have visited nearly 30 foreign countries, and have lived in several of them, subject to their sovereign border and alien laws.
Everywhere I went overseas I obeyed the local law, particularly with respect to immigration, for the simple and common sense reason I was a guest.
I have no sympathy for those who cavalierly march in, with no respect for our sovereign federal laws, and with total contempt for immigrants who went through the process legally, and who have the support and comfort of individuals like you.
You kind kindly put that in your pipe and smoke it. That is all.
