Sing A Little Louder (Christians and the American Holocaust)

The following story entitled "Sing A Little Louder", told by an old weeping "Christian" man, holds a very important message for us today. May its words ring loud and clear, reminding all Christians everywhere the consequences of our [physical and spiritual] uninvolvement. May our L-rd G-d Almighty Who is Israel's Savior, Redeemer, and King, forgive us our sins, and deliver us from that cursed spirit of indifference. May the following poem entitled "The Passenger" also help us to clearly see this truth

"SING A LITTLE LOUDER"
After a speech, Pro-Life activist Penny Lea was approached by an old man. Weeping, he told her the following story:

I lived in Germany during the Nazi holocaust. I considered myself a Christian. I attended Church since I was a small boy. We had heard the stories of what was happening to the Jews, but like most people today in this country, we tried to distance ourselves from the reality of what was really taking place. What could anyone do to stop it?

"A railroad track ran behind our small church, and each Sunday morning we would hear the whistle from the distance and then the clacking of the wheels moving over the track. We became disturbed when one Sunday we noticed cries coming from the train as it passed by. We grimly realized that the train was carrying Jews. They were like cattle in those cars!

"Week after week that train whistle would blow. We would dread to hear the sound of those old wheels because we knew that the Jews would begin to cry to us as they passed our church. It was so terribly disturbing! We could do nothing to help these poor miserable people, yet their screams tormented us. We knew exactly at what time that whistle would blow, and we decided the only way to keep from being so disturbed by the cries was to start singing our hymns. By the time the train came rumbling past the church yard, we were singing at the top of our voices. If some of the screams reached our ears, we'd just sing a little louder until we could hear them no more. Years passed and no one talks about it much anymore, but I still hear that train whistle in my sleep. I can still hear them crying out for help. G-d forgive all of us who called ourselves Christians, yet did nothing to intervene."

"Their screams tormented us . . . If some of their screams reached our ears we'd just sing a little louder."

Now, so many years later, I see it happening all over again in America. God forgive you as Americans for you have blocked out the screams of millions of your own children. The holocaust is here. The response is the same as it was in my country - SILENCE!"

Have you ever wondered HOW people could have stood by and let the holocaust just happen? Do you wonder why the Christians in this story chose to just sing their praise to God a little louder to drown out the victim's cries?

The old man's story is in the past. The past cannot be changed. It is easy to think we would act differently now. But the old man's last words are haunting "It's happening all over again in America with abortion. The Holocaust is here."

As American Christians, we have become so comfortable in our lovely buildings and padded pews. We have beautiful fellowship halls for our many banquets. We have the latest sound equipment for our praise and worship. We have computers to keep our records. We gather together each week and shut ourselves inside our buildings. We raise our voices as loud as we can, all in the name of God.

And yet, in the heavenly realm, our voices raised in praise are drowned out by screams of agony from millions of babies who are being executed before they are born. We can't see them. We can't hear them. But it is happening right now!

Babies are being aborted UP UNTIL THE DAY OF BIRTH in this country. Their organs and brains are "harvested" for use in medical experimentation. In Wichita, Kansas, the smoke stack from the furnace of Dr. Tiller's abortion clinic belches out black smoke and the sickening smell of burning flesh. These are the bodies of 7th, 8th and 9th month old babies being "disposed of".

If the Christians in the old man's church had done something, they would have probably been killed. That is not the case with us. We don't even have that as an excuse for our silence.

Years from now will you be like that old man trying to explain your apathy as millions were led away to slaughter in abortion clinics? Or will you raise your voice and cry out in protest for those who have no voice! The choice is YOURS!

THE PASSENGER - by Penny Lea

"I found myself in anger, I cried out in despair. I prayed, "L-rd let them hear me! Let just one person care!" I raised my voice to heaven as the train kept moving on, as we passed behind the church yard! I could hear the worship songs. I cried out all the louder to the Christians there inside, but they raised the chorus louder not hearing me outside. I knew they heard the whistle and the clacking of the tracks. They knew that I was going to die and still they turned their backs. I said, "Father in heaven how can your people be so very hard of hearing to the cry of one like me? I shouted, "Please have mercy! Just a prayer before I die!" But they sang a little louder to the Holy One on High. They raised their hands to Heaven but the blood was dripping down. The blood of all the innocent their voices tried to drown. They have devotions daily, they function in My Name, and they never even realized it was I upon that train.

FACTS ABOUT ABORTION

Fact: In the United States it is legal to abort a baby up until the day of birth.

Fact: In the D&X procedure babies are "partially aborted" so the head is still in the cervix but the body is out. While in this position the live baby is still considered an "abortion" therefore a non-person. The live baby's brains are sucked out and the other organs are harvested and sold to "researchers". The baby receives no anesthesia and is alive until the procedure kills him.

Fact: Every day in America about 4,400 babies die painful deaths by dismemberment, chemical poisoning, lethal injections into the heart, being torn limb from limb and now, being partially delivered and having their brains sucked out and their organs sold.

Fact: Abortion has two victims - the baby and the mother. Many women who have abortions suffer both physically and mentally. Depression, anxiety, grief, infection, sterility and even death are not uncommon as a result of the abortion.

Fact: Only 1% of abortions are performed as a result of rape or incest. Most abortions are done as a form of birth control because the baby is "inconvenient", "too expensive", or a "burden".

I am a cradle Catholic and for most of my life, I didn't do a single thing to help stop abortion/child murder. I have tried to make up for that in the last several years. I KNOW I can do more.

Prayer is very important - but action MUST accompany prayer. (Unless physically unable). There are so many simple yet powerful things we can do. (If you are interested freepmail me.)

There are some 175-200 MILLION "Christians" in America. If we each did 1-hour of pro-life a month, just sixty damn minuets a month, we would end "legalized" abortion/child murder in no time--and change the world in the process.

I firmly believe that the solution to ending the culture of death does not realistically lie with changing the minds of pro-abortion adults; it lies with preserving the 99+ % of children that are naturally pro-life on their first day of school.

Comprehensive sanctity of life before birth education in ALL CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS from K-12 is THE MISSING KEY OF THE PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT

School Worker Wins Battle Over Union's Support of Abortion -- 11 ... A school psychologist credits her resolve and some pro bono legal work for winning a battle over her teacher's union dues because she had religious objections to the union's support of abortion.

Kathleen Klamut filed charges with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against the Ohio Education Association (OEA) for its refusal to allow her to defer her part of her union dues to charity because of her religious objection to abortion, which the union supports.

July Education Reporter -- ‘Teachers Saving Children’ Offers ...

The National Education Association (NEA) adopted its pro-abortion policy in 1985, amended it in 1986, and affirmed it every year thereafter. NEA Resolution I-13 on Family Planning states:

"The National Education Association supports family planning, including the right to reproductive freedom.
"The Association urges the government to give high priority to making available all methods of family planning to women and men unable to take advantage of private facilities.
"The Association further urges the implementation of community-operated, school-based family planning clinics that will provide intensive counseling by trained personnel."

Citizen Magazine Feature - For the Children? The National Education Association says it's dedicated to educating children, so why is it so busy promoting abortion, homosexuality and a host of other liberal causes?

Some NEA members see this resolution as unconscionable, and each year they attempt to eliminate or undermine it. Such attempts are routinely shot down by NEA delegates. This year, pro-life NEA members attempted several different strategies, including the introduction of an amendment scuttling Resolution I-12 and two new "business items." As in years past, their efforts were crushed.

One Minnesota delegate shares why such change is important. "Kids lives are at stake. This is not about adults. This is about kids and their lives—they need a voice."

Unfortunately, the voice coming out of the 2.6 million-member union is not about kids. It’s a shrill call for more abortions, more gay rights, more leftist causes, and most of all more power—the power of a union to dominate the $400 billion education industry.

Right, the government school system / indoctrination stupification system is a total loss.

I am talking about sanctity of life education in CHRISTIAN schools. What's their excuse for not promoting the sanctity of life in a comprehensive way for K-12?

THE MISSING KEY OF THE PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT

--Since the decision of Roe v. Wade, tens of millions of Christian school students could have received a Pro-Life education. This group would today constitute a huge voting block; and with them, the culture of death might have already been defeated.

The Pro-Life movement has worked tirelessly, attempting to change the hearts and minds of adults in the voting booth and in government. However, this is addressing the problem after the damage has been done. Simultaneously, children's hearts and minds are not being properly cultivated in the truth of the sanctity of life while in Christian school. The result is that Christian schools continue graduating more voters and future government leaders whose record of defending life is no better than the national average. This sad reality is made evident with every election (see below) and with every legislative session. This self-defeating cycle must stop, as it is one of the main underlying reasons why we have not yet ended the scourge of abortion and the growing tolerance of euthanasia.

Few would argue that it is much harder to change the minds of adults than it is to properly form the minds of children, especially in matters of morality. Only by finally addressing this problem and moving to correct it can we begin to change our culture and our laws. The very soul of our country is at stake. If the people of our nation remain uneducated, then change cannot occur.

Implementation of a comprehensive Pro-Life education program from kindergarten through twelfth grade will steadily increase the momentum of the Culture of Life. After receiving a Pro-Life education, Christians will place life as the preeminent factor in their vote. In turn, this will lead to the defeat of the culture of death. This program has nothing to do with sex education. Rather, it teaches about the sanctity of life at all stages of the human continuum, with particular emphasis on the time from conception to birth. This simple and easily implemented curriculum is truly a missing key in our movement, perhaps the most important missing component in our battle for the unborn-and the culture at large. Other strategies do not have this powerful capacity to effect such a change. We believe that this plan could substantially transform our culture to one that reveres all life and simultaneously advance the return of a Christian nation.

Train up a child in the way he should go even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Why hasn't the Catholic Church excommunicated Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Tom Daschle, etc.?

Anyone?

(((PING)))))) ... if you've not read the story of 'sing a little louder', grab a hanky and rad it. We are all, we 'pro-life' people, in danger of singing a little louder, rather than 'voting with our feet.

"Sing a Little Louder"

A horrifying story and still happening. I wonder if history will remember us as a race of pagans who sacrificed their children and elders for convenience.

Why hasn't the Catholic Church excommunicated Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Tom Daschle, etc.?

Kennedy and Daschle have excommunicated themselves by remarrying after having been divorced. Daschle's bishop has recently odered him to cease referring to himself as "Catholic".

Pelosi has not yet been called to account, so far as I know.

Thank you for posting this. It is a shame and an embarassment to realize that the Holocaust is an equivalent to abortion in America. Thank you for posing the challenge for us to actually practice our Christian principles; instead of just speaking or singing about them.

we would end "legalized" abortion/child murder in no time

I'm not a politician, so I can think for myself. We are stuck with legal abortion. That's how it is. The problem is that so many are taking advantage of the procedures, in many case for reasons of convenience. That's where the effort should go, to get people to realize what they are doing. Just because it's legal doesn't mean it should be widespread and popular. There are some other things that should be addressed, which are: the personal practices that lead to the perceived need for the procedures. Legal doesn't mean right, legal doesn't mean moral. Moral decay--trite, but that's where it is.
