Let's not forget that David Kendall is the Enquirer's counsel, and that the National Enquirer has been the official scandal sheet of the Clintonistas for years.
Coupld with the JFK intern story, I would guess that we are seeing a full court press to show how Clinton was "just like everybody else."
Probably a Chelsea story will come out next week, telling us about all her charitable work. Blech.

The article did not say whether Barbara the younger would then commute to Yale or Jenna would transfer to Maryland U. Umm, ewing, Barbara is the elder twin and Jenna is the younger.

Do you enjoy wasting peoples time by posting links that have nothing to do with it?
Lets assume that this is the Kutcher story that is going around now: read it carefully and the reality is that it was 18 months ago; the twins might have been inhaling; he caught them with one of his pot smoking buddies.
I wish you would stop exerpting articles. This ain't Lucianne.

Do we really want to post articles from the National Enquirer?

Eureka. Maybe Bush has finally found the weapon of mass destruction that is destroying America. How about bombing the countries that are drugging America? Or it's party time for dope heads - which shall it be?

Where's the story? Is this the dumb thing about that model-turned-actor's party
18 months ago?
Give me a break.

It looks like our president and the First Lady have the same kind of "kids growing up" troubles that many of us regular folk do. We each do what we can to lead our kids down the right path, and try to reorient them to that path when they stray. Sometimes it works, sometimes they can be stubborn. I won't fault the parents or make excuses for them. Sometimes, regardless of a parent's efforts, the kids will ignore the best advice, and do knuckleheaded things; and all we can do is hope and pray that they make it through. I know the feeling.

I admit I got curious when I saw the cover in the grocery line and I read it. I don't know whether to believe it, though, because I don't see how the tabloid could get this kind of information. I mean, they relate this whole supposed three-way phone conversation between W. and his daughters, with "he said" and the daughters' reactions, etc. How could they possibly find out the details of a private phone conversation between the President and his daughters? W. would surely not confide in some clerk or staffer at the White House, repeating this conversation between his daughters and himself! The only people he'd confide in, if anybody, would be his closest inner circle, and surely those people don't talk to the tabloids. All these tabs have to do is make up a story and say "an insider said." They can actually make up whatever they want! I admit I was curious enough to read it, though, so I certainly wouldn't criticize anyone else who does! LOL There's a photo inside of the President looking like he's lecturing somebody (probably from some speech or interview) and pics of the daughters. They really are pretty girls.

National Enquirer, eh? The next time they have a headline like "Man Dies, Goes to Heaven, Sees Elvis, Takes Picture as Proof", are you going to post that too?

Wellll....
If nothing else, this story tells you that raising chilluns is a damn tough job--and even having the Secret Service to assist you doesn't make it any easier.
Thank God for GWB--who has inadvertently allowed us "normal" parents who WISH TO HELL THEIR CHILDREN WOULD BEHAVE!!! to know that we are not alone.

I am not in any way going to condone or excuse the girls behavior, or criticize the President & First Lady. But it must be noted that it must be extraordinarilly difficult to be the child of a US President. Maintaining anything that even remotely resembles a normal upbringing must be close to impossible. The wonder is that all of the "first kids" don't go absolutely off the deep end.
