[history]
A former Arizona State University student arrested last week may have cased President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, six months before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, possibly to assess security for an attack, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

You've got a 28 year old student here as a suspect. 28! I think that any arab here to be a "student" should have a Lojack around their ankle.

I heard a reporter describe the great difficulty of getting access to the Crawford ranch. He said air access is impossible.I was disturbed nevertheless.

Hmmm. A "sun devil." It does seem, well, appropriate.

I don't know about this particular case, but we seem to be hearing about Middle Easterners who come here on student visas, take a full class load for a semester, and then cut back to being enrolled in only one class (frees them up for serious terrorism planning, I guess). A very careful review of all student visas just might be appropriate, under the circumstances.

Muhammad
My first thought after reading the headline was that it was probably another Muhammad. I think we're all getting pretty good at this.

ASU - Professors, Students, etc ALL Anti-American ??
It seems the ONLY thing I hear when ASU is mentioned is anti-Christian, anti-American, anti-Bush, anti-freedom, PRO-Osama, PRO-Hussein, PRO-Aztlan, PRO-Cuba, PRO-communist, etc.

There is a small group of College Republicans there too, that do try to get their tiny voice out and heard.

Geee, must be yet another example of racial profiling by the brownshirts of the imperialist, McCarthiest Bush administration. </sarcasm>
Most universities where these animals congregate are still doing everything everything in their power to protect terrorists who are enrolled but haven't taken a class in months.

Many universities are REFUSING to cooperate and let the government know which of their foreign students are actually enrolled.

"ASU - Professors, Students, etc ALL Anti-American ?? " Nope. My son got his PhD there and is a good guy. He works for Northrup-Grumman now and is all-American. He did complain about the liberal professors there though.

Liberal professors........for the most part there are no other kind. Daughter was in a pure science curriculum and the progessors always found a way to inject thier opinions.....
To say nothing of the electives that have to be VERY carefully chosen.
Daughter chose a photography class thinking she would be safe......hah, the prof was a lesbian with the obvious photos.......ah well!

I agree!! I used to live in Madison, Wisconsin, and thought that "university" was a den of commie scum ... and that was back in the 1950's!! It looks like a lot of them moved to ASU.
So sad for a once-Conservative state.
