Julian Phillips declares Russia "Superior"
foxnews

Just heard some comments on Foxnews this morning and I thought some of you all might be interested in the blatant communist tilt of Fox and Friends weekend edition
Juliet:
"Yes Apparently Russia is doing their military excercises. Sounds ok right? Well not really, Russia is planning for a Nuclear attack on the United States.
Mike:
"Yes apparently when we said we were going to pre-emptively strike any country that threatens us, Russia got a little nervous so they are practicing nuclear attacking our ships and stuff."
Julian:
"You know Russia has become superior in a lot of ways. We disabled most of our nuclear program and probably only have three or four nuclear weapons, while they still have 3000 or 4000 of them. I see where they are coming from."

I've about given up on F&F weekend - I've had HGTV on this morning. Then again, when I have to relinquish my cable Monday (no cable in the new subdivision, and I haven't decided on which sat service yet), I won't have F&F during the week to watch either (sniff)!

I won't have F&F during the week to watch either (sniff)! Dish Network through Echo Star. Fox News is a standard basic channel.

It's so much more pleasant on Saturdays when I don't tune in Julian. I have done 2 loads of laundry, cleaned the stairs, and fed the cats.
Julian simply makes my blood pressure go up. I have written Fox, but they apparently see some redeeming quality in Julian. I do not, so I have turned my set OFF.

From the comment you posted up there it seems to me the contention is that they have nuclear superiority now because we've destroyed a lot of our capability. I don't see that as pro Russian/Communist but a comment on our nuclear readiness. I don't know what was meant by "superior in a lot of ways". That's pretty vague to be pinning a traitor charge on Fox. Got any more proof?

Dish Network through Echo Star. Fox News is a standard basic channel.Likewise on DirectTV - which means I'm stuck still trying to decide....(and sorting through the various special offers...)

Nothing that was said was an untruth. Of course, it's an exaggeration to say we only have 3 or 4 nukes left in the arsenal, but as far as nuclear capabilities go, Russia far outpaces us. While they have ramped up their tactical nuclear arsenal over the past ten years (to the detriment of their conventional forces and just about everything else in the country), the US has greatly reduced the number of tactical nukes in the American stockpile. So I don't see how that translates to a pro-Commie or pro-Russia statement.

We disabled most of our nuclear program and probably only have three or four nuclear weapons, while they still have 3000 or 4000 of them.Is this true? That would worry me far more than her calling the Russians superior.

No its not true, he just doesn't know what he is talking about.

they apparently see some redeeming quality in Julian. I do not, so I have turned my set OFF. I tuned in to F&F this a.m., caught a part of what you posted Conservative Man, then promptly changed it to MSNBC. And, Miss Marple, I've been resorting to the same things on the weekends, just shutting off the t.v., listening to music, cleaning, playing on the computer, etc. Where I once enjoyed Sat. a.m.'s with Fox, I no longer do.....I'm trying to remember who it was I liked that used to host? Surely, it wasn't Julian? (or am I mistaken?)

Is Phillips the dim-bulb blond bimbo?
To: Non-Sequitur
No that is Juliet Huddy. She is the dumb blonde. Mike is Chuckles always trying to get a laugh. And Julian is the Russian sympathizer.
To: nicmarlo
There was a young guy who always had a hairdo that looked like he just got out of bed. Juliette Hutty has usually been on on weekends. Mike is a Hollywood guy and knows zip about anything other than Los Angeles celebrities and New York theater.

We disabled most of our nuclear program and probably only have three or four nuclear weapons FAS, a pretty left-wing organization puts it at more like 9600 in the "enduring nuclear stockpile." Go to Enduring US Nuclear Stockpile

"You know Russia has become superior in a lot of ways. We disabled most of our nuclear program and probably only have three or four nuclear weapons, while they still have 3000 or 4000 of them. I see where they are coming from."
He is being sarcastic about us disarming and them not. Thats pretty obvious.
