May 17, 2003 -- Police divers returned to San Francisco Bay to search for clues in the Laci Peterson murder case yesterday as lawyers for her husband - and accused killer - revealed that they're looking into the possibility that she and her unborn son were victims of a satanic cult.

If it bothers you, ignore it.

This thread is about Laci Peterson, not about my tagline.

Funny you bring up Gary Condit.

I was about to post comment that I found surprising similarities in the synchronicity of the Laci case to the accusations regarding Condit.

In both situations, it seems that a relatively obscure unsolved crime makes national headlines for prolonged periods, while volumes of other unsolved cases never even make the back page of a county newspaper.

It seems that in both cases something very ulterior might be at hand, which isn't obvious to the public simply introduced to the affairs by press accounts.

I'd come closer to accepting something Satanic might be going on,... as in conspiracy theory, aka Illuminati, some esoteric branch of Freemasonry or Rosicrucianism, or some other fringe cult associated or linked to soe ensemblage of persons in a national level power structure. Not something overt, but intricately occultic,.. hidden in the wide open.

If it's WYSIWYG, then why aren't more unsolved murder cases as readily publicized? (Not trying to make anybody disprove a negative, but IMHO, the mechanics of making press seem to make the Condit and Laci cases much deeper than meets the eye.)

Sure - a satanic cult that "just happened" to dispose of the body/bodies a few miles from where Scott had gone fishing ninety miles from home.

I'm guessin' that after seeing the autopsy report Geragos is fabricating and "floating" any scenarios that might influence the potential juror pool.

Geragos is trying to taint the jury. He thinks he'll get an OJ jury and they'll believe it was Colombian drug dealers who necklaced Laci and threw her in the bay.

Yep. Taint the jury pool and sway public opinion to the favor of his client.
I don't think it's gonna work.

I think MG was using Geraldo to put out the defense spin, knowing that the report was going to be sealed before the prosecution could publicly respond.

Can "taglines" be considered personal attacks? Or are they immuned?

Redlipstick's tagline refers to Bush-backers not gloating while the democrats sulk over the victory in Iraq. She's had it for weeks, which can be easily verified. What is the personal attack?

Mark Geragos, Scott's lawyer, is a white version of Johnny Cochran. He's a high-profile attorney, having just defended Winona Ryder in her famous shoplifting trial.

Don't forget he first came to national attention defending Susan MacDougal. Both Geraldo and Dan Abrams have spoken approvingly of his defense in that case, as they opined it was a "political prosecution".

Also defended Roger Clinton in his DWI case. You can see the guy has a clintonian nature combined with cochranian tactics.

Geraldo is part of the defense team. I fail to see why FNC allows this. But then, there's lots to be disappointed about on FNC lately. And that includes O'R's rants and irrational raving about various topics.

My tagline is from an editorial in the May 12th print edition of National Review.

A May 12 editorial? I thought you'd had it longer than that--but still, it was regarding the dems and their disgusting attitude.

As to Feiger (ICK--not to be trusted) and company laughing at Geragos' storyline. It seems before he was hired to defend Peterson Geragos was on these talk shows saying pretty much Peterson didn't have a prayer. It is stunning that he was then hired, but there he is.

He has risen to the top of the evil lawyer industry, for the same reason that a particularly rotten piece of feces rises to the top of the septic tank.

Sounds like OJ's dream teams' drug lords murder of Nicole and Ron. Shameless smoke and mirrors.

Laci is becoming a victim of a satanic cult called, "criminal defense attorneys."

Quote of the month in my opinion!

Seriously, crooked lawyers and judges are wrecking us from within. The local and state governments do nothing to weed them all out because the individuals currently in office are willing to subordinate our nation's security in order to carry out sleazy side-deals for themselves- i.e. high paying "jobs" at the law firms that house the crooked lawyers.

On who's authority are public records being "sealed"?

It is OUR courthouse and OUR policeforce and OUR prosecutors and OUR public record and we want to see EVERYTHING and I did not authorize any private lawyer to seal or conceal anything.

I didn't know Peterson belonged to a satanic cult.

Come on, this is fantasy land for this attorney. Trying to fish around and concoct some 'plausible' alternative story to get a gulity man off the hook. Don't fall for it.
