About an hour ago I saw a motorcade of 4 buses, and about 100 police in cars and on motorcycles, driving fast east on Braddock Road in Fairfax Virginia just west of Washington DC. The police all had their flashers on and it was quite a spectacular site. Does anybody know what is going on? I live her and have never seen anything quite like this, even in DC where I work sometimes.

I think they were vintage police cars heading out of town after the big police gathering in DC yesterday. They were parading through town yesterday, sirens a'blaring.

Are you kidding, I am scared to death of the Fairfax police. You start any contact with them, and it could escalate into something nasty.

A solar eclipse would still be called a solar eclipse on the Moon. I don't think so.
A solar eclipse blocks the sun from the viewer (on earth).
A lunar eclipse has the viewer (on earth) blocking the OTHER object (the moon).
If you were on the moon, what's normally called a lunar eclipse would be a solar eclipse (the sun is blocked from the viewer, on the moon).
If you were on the moon, what's normally called a solar eclipse would be a terran eclipse, with the viewer blocking the OTHER object (the earth)
